I really don't understand why a lot of the year one play are getting super salty of Xur selling the gjallarhorn. I'm a day one player and got my gjallarhorn from the vault of glass and still play this game. What I think is funny is how a lot of people are throwing a fit for "earning it". I understand that people grinded for it but that's what this game is mostly about. You just end up getting super lucky in this luck based game. To all the new comers who got gjallarhorn, I hope you enjoy it because it helps. I think instead of being a community of "who's got a bigger wiener" we should be a community that helps people and supports.
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

1 返信I doesn't matter anyways, in a few weeks there will probably be a better launcher and better weapons, there for I honestly don't give a flying fu*k that xur sold ghorn this week, it'll be useless in a few weeks.

Well you, my friend, are NOT a sociopath. People who have and do not want others to have are afflicted with something called "acquired sociopathy." Unfortunately this is increasingly prominent in Americans (don't flame, I'm American, that's how I know) due to our poor child rearing (i.e. participation trophies for everyone). Children grow up with a sense of entitlement but no sense of sharing or fair play. It can happen to well-raised children that come into large sums of money as well. The only things I think of when I see these posts are: Life is going to be hard for this person unless they are very rich. Close relationships for this person are difficult if not non-existant. This person has years of growth before they will have the ability to add constructive information on the forums, and I wouldn't play with them, so they will be muted and blocked. The fact that you see the logic that they do not due to the mental illness they've acquired means you have a healthy brain and a good heart! You will have love and smiles in your life.

Little kids that play the game that do not take the time to do the activities to get ghorn now have the chance to get it. 2. those people that did the activities and EARNED THEIR GHORN are getting screwed over by bungie. 3. Why are you complaining about legends at destiny complaining YOU HYPOCRIT #GetGood

4 通の返信Let them whine and bitch and complain, because they are nothing special!! I am a day one guardian as well. And after all the hours of grinding and grinding I never got a gally drop just like so many other day one players! So when Xur showed up this morning with it, you bet your ass I plopped down my 17strange coins and took what I feel was rightfully mine! As far as earning it goes, I had to earn the strange coins to purchase it! Are you trying to say your time is more important than mine? I had to do weekly strikes, raids, nightfalls just to name a few to get these coins. So damn it I say I earned it!!! As far as the new people getting it, why are you so concerned with that? Unless they are going to grind to get their level up to even be able to earn strange coins by the end of Saturday night, they have no chance in getting it. If someone does then guess what? As far as I am concerned THEY EARNED IT!!! Bungie has screwed no one by having Xur sell the Ghorn. If my memory serves me correct, in a year this is only the second time he has even offered it, and the first time many people were not leveled enough to get it. So people STOP WHINING!!! We are suppose to be a tight community that helps each other and want the best for other guardians. So be happy that someone else can experience this great Rocket Launcher!

I've been playing since October on xbox 360 RNG never dropped ghallarhorn honestly wasn't thinking it would drop at all was just gonna move on and deal with out it for the taken king so when xur sold it I bought it but I've grinded and have done a lot in the last 10 months. Some times RNG just screws you

1 返信No one tends to be happy when the tool for measuring their e-peen is rendered less helpful. Or, when they discover that others have similar e-peen, or don't particular care about someone else's e-peen. PS: It's ALWAYS been about the e-peen.
-
It's the stupid elitist mentality. They say you have to earn a Gjallarhorn. How is that possible? How can one earn RNG? You can't. It is called Random Number Generator for a reason. And why get mad? More people will have it, which means less time against bullet sponge bosses and mobs. Glad it's being sold so the elitists get knocked off their high horses

Sun Krystにより編集済み: 8/15/2015 6:31:21 AMI was so surprised after I woke up today, turned my computer on and found out the good news! I got mine about a month ago in the Shadow Thief Nightfall and have been enjoying the weapon tremendously :} I have always had a good attitude about everyone else having the chance to get the Gjallarhorn {even when I didn't have it and felt that I never would get it} and I think everyone should get the opportunity to experience it not just some elite group of people. Everyone just chill out and have a good time it's just a game so have fun. That elitist crap and disrespectful T-bagging needs to stop! I'm so glad to know that everyone on my fireteams will now have their own Jellyhorn and can help out in Raids and missions, etc.

mikdrago28により編集済み: 8/14/2015 11:45:15 AMI am also day one, got mine the second week from a legendary engram when they could still turn into blues, but I am happy for everyone that is getting it now. I think that the people who "earned it" need to chill. Be happy for other people and stop whining.

6 通の返信Yeah i hate when people say they need to "earn" gally. There are so many day 1 players with countless hours that still have no gally. I think with all the time put in on nightfalls and raids is more than enough to earn a gally. And it's just a game, let the people have their fun!!!
-
I grind so hard for a Gally. I think people seem to forget that there are still players who are not noobs, (lvl 34 Titan) and who have grind for a very long time for Gally. But have not gotten a Gally EVER. I even have 2 hawk awesomes but no Gally. I think I deserve this Gally before it gets nerf, but it's funny watching elitist cry. ;))
