I'm mute, but would you play with me?
Hi,
As the title says, i'm mute. For those of you who don't know, I can't speak bc issues with my vocal chord (my throat, not the vocal plug of a mic). That being said, would anyone be willing to do raids with someone like me? I listen to the fireteam/team chat, i can hear everything you people are saying. I can take commands and hold my own for a bit. The one thing i CANNOT do is communicate with my fireteam by talking. What are your opinions on this?

System I play on is [b][i][u]PS3,[/u][/i][/b] but i hope to get a PS4 soon
Also know that this is NOT a forum where I ask for pity. Tbh i don't like it when people try to feel bad. Also b/c theres nothing to feel bad about.

In a raid where I knew what was going on? Sure. In a strike or normal stuff? Absolutely. Normal crucible? Damn straight. Iron banner? Probably. Trials? No way. A brand new raid that I've never seen before? No. For the activities I wouldn't play with you during its because communication is vital and chemistry is a must. In trials, having fun can make or break a team, as well as callouts. You are not able to do those things. Now, if you're some MLG pro trials player that goes 12-2 every game without any callouts, then sure, because you're better than I am and I probably won't need callouts because the other team will just be dead

Doesn't bug me. I play with a dude regularly who refuses to talk in the mic no matter what. I've done every pve with him, including raids and all PoE. He just dances or t-bags in front of someone if he needs that person to take the essence from him or if he's blind and needs cleanse. Also done trials with him and have, so far, always went flawless with him. He communicates through PSN messages. This dude's the reason I keep my phone on PSN app next to me to check messages.

Yeah, totally. You made me think though, it would be really cool to see our guardians using sign language. Or some other form of communication that facilitates mute people, the gestures are okay, just pretty limited.

As long as you're chill with me talking a lot. And I don't say that to come off offensively, I just have a hard time shutting up...so I would definitely have to apologize after we played as you would probably want to hit me afterwards

4 通の返信I'd play with you, but I'd probably keep tabs on you at first. Because I don't know about who you are as a person I wouldn't know if you were up to some troll-worthy stuff or not (like this post very well may be, just giving you the benefit of the doubt)
