After over 100 strikes easy.. 2+ weeks of grinding Dragon strikes. My search for the Hopscotch Pilgrim has ended today!
It isn't the best roll, but after spending about 50K worth of glimmer I decided to keep this roll until I hopefully get another to roll.
The weapon is on my Warlock. Let me know what you think of my roll. Also, what rolls do you guys think are the best?

1 返信When you say that isn't the best roll do you mean to say that you got the perfect PVP roll? Honestly, I don't know that you could do much better than that. Hidden Hand maybe but in the crucible all your targets move around so much that it is almost nicer to get a body shot and then the extra damage on your headshot with Head Seeker.

1 返信Never had to do 100 strike to get this weapon... I simply ascended my crucible vendor Three little words and voila!

2 通の返信I LOVE how it took you about 2 weeks and the item description is "it's been a long road, enjoy it"

I dismantled mine as I knew I would get addicted into trying to get the perfect roll. I'm trying to save up mats. I love messenger because it's not rerollable. Hahaha congratulations on your hopscotch! ~TheGreatNike

2 通の返信I reforge mine for ORES, Third Eye, Braced Frame and Hidden Hand. How good of a roll is that?

I'll give you an honest opinion on your roll. At first it looks like a great one, but if you look at it more closely you can see that : 1) Third eye is very situational and rarely in the heat of a fight you'll have the awareness to shoot at someone and look at your radar at the same time. You can work without this perk by ADSing and UnADSing very quickly. 2) The middle column stability upgrade is the second best one you can have. The one decreasing the magazine size is what you want because the gun already has 30 bullets which is more than enough for pvp. And with the other one you keep that base range too. I'd say it's on par with smallbore, because the base stability is already great and even if it's not maxed out with smallbore it's still very stable with a red dot sight, and you get that extra range bonus too. 3) Headseeker. Big topic. I'm one of those people who thinks that it's way too much overrated. It's a great perk IF and only IF your gun as a low stability, and you can make up for that lack of stability with this perk. But otherwise, if you're already maxed out on stability you don't need that, you can "just" land all of your 3 bursts in the head if you aim good. My best recommended perks set would be. Red Dot ORS1, Outlaw/feeding frenzy, max stability at the cost of mag size, and reactive reload.

3 通の返信Matt Boy52により編集済み: 8/9/2015 10:30:17 PMAll the people who grind for ages for this gun, props to you for having the patience. I actually feel a little guilty for getting the Hopscotch on my second ever Dragon strike. But I for the life of me cannot find the High Road Soldier though :/
