I don't feel like going to level 40, just like in other games like borderlands or cod where the grind lasts forever to reach master prestige and level 70, each level taking longer and longer. I would be ok with more levels if there was a mission to go with each one but let's be honest, bungie won't do that. And remember that time you reached level 20 and then you were like "wow this is so cool, I can use all this cool armour that boosts my level!" Light levels were a very unique feature in destiny and they are removing it. Destiny is going to mainstream and I doubt I'll be buying TTK for that amazingly high price..
Edit- most of you are idiots. Why would you want to grind a game by doing the same missions and crucible over and over. Just go play cod if you want a repetitive experience with literally 500-1000 levels of grinding, each one harder than the next!
Edit- If the game started like this it would of been dead by now, let's be honest because other games like this already exist.
Satire above
Congrats on wasting your times responding nerds.

1 返信I know this is a troll post but they really need to explain how this works in greater detail. If light affects damage dealt and received then what role does level play if light and level are divorced?

1 返信I love how op says it was satire the whole time at the end when it obviously wasn't XD

1 返信Isn't grinding what we were doing previously to level up each piece of gear to max light? And then when that was taken out, grind to get etheric light to max out? I don't buy the premise of "now we have to grind" to level up because that's what we have already been doing. It will be interesting if new pieces of gear and weapons will require higher levels to use now. Before we couldn't equip legendary and exotics without being level 20. But what if now they introduce new legendary equipment that requires you to be level 25, 30, 40, etc... To equip. Now you have something to look forward at these new levels potentially. And I'm excited that they have made it so you no longer have to grind to get the exotic perks on the armour (don't remember if the same is with the guns) so as soon as you equip it you feel the immediate effects.

If they were actually removing the LL completely. However, seeing the information provided by Bungie it appears they are now backing off and instituting some kind of hybrid system. The fact that TTK drops in about a month and Bungie still has not finalized anything gameplay related shows there are issues. Looks like anyone that buys TTK will be the paying beta testers for that as well. They want $40 for TTK and even Bungie admits that it is not finished yet. No thanks.

People tended to complain more often about the lack of individuality (only a few pieces of gear can get a person to max light level). So, they changed that. The "grind" you speak of will only replace the current grind of obtaining that gear with preferable perks. Just a change of concept.

1 返信Lol, worst satire attempt ever (though I think it's more likely that the overwhelming response you received probably convinced you to reverse course).
