I'm trying this week for Trials, first time! And I am not really good with sniper rifle, does anybody know tips in how to use them good?
Edit: THANK SO MUCH!!! With all of this tips I might get Flawless 3x!!
Edit: 207!?!? My highest post right now. Thank you all!!! Based in all of your suggestions I rolled Low Grade Humility with Hidden Hand and shoot and loot. Is it any good?
Edit: Tomorrow is the big day!! I'll use everything that I have learned to get to the lighthouse! Let's hope that RNGOD gives me a Ghorn!! Also, I need a good team for tomorrow so if anyone is willing to help me I'm in PS4 and my PSN is ArkhamKnight895. Thanks all so much!
Edit: Sadly guardians, I have not been able to participate in Trials today thanks to the players that didn't have enough patience with me. Guess I'll be trying Monday ;(

Get a sniper like Her Benevolence or Shadow of Veils. You need at least that level of impact to instantly kill revived enemies or those bastard self-reviving warlocks in one shot. Low-Grade Humilty is okay against enemies who aren't using supers with damage resistance buffs or who have a revive shield, but otherwise it sucks because of its impact.

3 通の返信Roll for short gaze hidden hand and snapshot. Took me so many rolls to get that. Turn down your sensitivity. Mine is at three. Learn where head level is on your screen. Many skilled snipers use jumper button layout but I just use default. Stay mobile and DO NOT CAMP. Dont zoom for too long. Watch truevanguard and kjhovey.

1 返信Constantly be tapping your aim trigger in and out, rather than just sitting in your scope. You need to be aware of your map as well as your sightline. I do this with all of my guns in PvP, even those with third eye because I'm either looking down my sights or at my map, never both.

2 通の返信Alright what I do is that I try to get to the sniping points first. Like when they peek out you can get them easily. Let's say you dot get to your point and you know that they are there. Try to go to a different area that can watch the enemy. Crouch, it's a big deal on the radar. I can't tell you how many times I've been to a sniping point late and got 1 shot. And I keep challenging in the same spot, he'll keep watching that point you were in. I hope this makes sense lol

5 通の返信Ambush or Tactical low-range sights are your best bet. Honestly, if you have good aim, you only need one shot. Otherwise, look for good stability.

1 返信Im in learning process too, I find that maintaining the scope at head level when aiming make a HUGE difference. I can recommend patient and time to start. And I have to say that if you are just starting to snipe, doing trials with a snipe is a bad idea, I have 2 weeks of practice and im REALLY inconsistent with the headshots

Autobot_Dawsonにより編集済み: 8/7/2015 11:34:49 AMDon't keep your scope dead in the middle of the screen, keep it slightly up head level makes crits a lot easier also if you can use a mid impact mid rate of fire like LDR longbow or her benevolence, enough rate of fire to get that second shot if you miss enough impact to revive snipe or snipe a self Rez or arc blade, and generally good scopes are ambush and shortgaze good luck!

6 通の返信When sniping off a res (with the required Med impact sniper rifle) be cognisant that the dead enemy can actually view you scoping in on their corps and should be warning their team mate. I always watch orbs using the side of the screen and not scoped in (unless you see them in the process of getting the Res). The en will normally call out that their clear and they will go for the res, then simply scope in and take them out agin etc. Another tip is that the Orb will flash blue when then are in the process of reviving the player - ideal time to scope in and end their day.

If you are watching a sightline and suddenly have four targets in your scope, don't panic. I had a clenching problem with faced with the descision of who to shoot first in this type of engagement. Keep a level head, if you have the upper hand move to the closest target to your reticle, take him out, then take cover.

1 返信Your roll is good depending on your playstyle. Personally, I'd hate to have hidden hand on my sniper since that would make the ADS too strong when people run by. However, I mainly go for headshots. What you have is very good for staying at range and picking people off, or even just weakening them.

9 通の返信Using a higher damage sniper would be more advantageous in Trials than Low-Grade. I would suggest getting a Benevolence if you don't have an LDR/Longbow. As for rolls I would shoot for: -Ambush/Shortgaze -Outlaw/Hidden Hand -Snapshot -Unflinching (I love this perk, but some people says it doesn't do anything. The Planet Destiny video isn't conclusive in my eyes because they did comparative tests with two different snipers)

Forge it with hidden hand, shortgaze and snapshot perks, use armour giving you more sniper or special ammo. Usually setting your look speed lower than default helps a ton. Most good players who use snipers play around a three or four AFAIK. But mostly go watch true vanguard on YouTube then just play a ton.
