I've also played 3 different Civilizations, Star Craft, Sins of a Solar Empire, Star Wars Empire at War, Command and Conquer, Ruse, Total War, Age of Empires 1 through 3 and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds (for anyone who doesn't know, it's basically Age of Empires II turned into Star Wars). Halo Wars did far more right than it did wrong.

Except in terms of console RTS games, Halo Wars severely lacks in several departments. Starcraft 64 is better than Halo Wars and that was on the N64. The best console RTS game however is Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. It does everything right in a console RTS game compared to Halo Wars which does everything wrong.
