2 months from now these weapons will be traded out with higher level gear and exotics in TTK. I know it sucks, but thats how its looking. So enjoy the guns for as long as you can and hope bungie lets us get high a high end drop that can ascend exotics to the higher tier gear.

Well if they are smart they will offer the ascension deal. I am not sure but it sounds like level 50 is the new cap. If so none of the weapons matter and playing has little value besides collecting materials from raids for money and coins.
