How did you get your Thorn?
I just want to know where I have the highest chance of finding it.

You must purchase the urn of tears from xur which he only sells on a Monday. You then must run around the crucible holding the urn only (no weapons) and fill it with tears of dead guardians. You can collect tears only by teabagging corpses of guardians that you didn't kill. You get one tear per ball sack drop. You must then turn in the full urn to the disciple of Osiris in the reef while you have a poor connection to the destiny servers. If you do all this correctly brother vance will give you thorn, and you will be able to purchase a fourth "boon" from him called bar of Osiris which will grant you a permanent red bar connection and overshield when playing trials. You can Also do this with lord Saladin if you would prefer to red bar and be invincible in iron banner. Hope this helps
