Making the switch from the One to PS4.
I'm really going to hate doing this grind all over again ,but I'm tired of missing out on content. Was always a PS player until the One came out. Anybody else make the switch? Just interested in seeing how many ppl moved over. This is not any console war BS. Please refrain from making this thread that way.
Edit: Any console dissing means you will be Muted. Urge commenters in the post to ignore these types of posts. Both systems are great in their own right. I'm moving to PS4 for Destiny.
Edit 2: Never thought this thread would get this big. Some ppl are switching to the One. All I got to say is...Whatever makes you happy system wise...do it. Both are great. Trolls are being muted as I come across their posts.

4 通の返信Don't do it. Unless u have more friends on ps4. It's not worth the grind and the fact u gotta rely on rng to get most of your exotics again. If u could bring em over like gta v then go for it. Honestly if u don't have anything like ghorn or raid guns. Then ya, but that rng will haunt u.

1 返信Maybe when Destiny came out, "missing content" might have been an issue and even then not even that much... but now? Xbox will not be missing anything... 3 legendary gears that will most likely have no use other than novelty, one Crucible map that will pop out 1 in 100 rounds, one strike to repeat ad infinitum. Ah! One Exotic Scout Rifle that people will most likely never use that much because they will want to use their Ghallajorn or Ice Breaker. There needs to be something much bigger and much better than Destiny for me to ever consider buying an entire gaming system and wanting to start this boring grind all over. But like you said, whatever makes you happy! Just remember that Xbox will be getting all previous exclusives by Autumn which are a lot more than what PS is getting.

3 通の返信I RECENTLY DID THIS TOO! I'm dissapointed I will prolly miss the day one rewards Bungie is handing out, but I think it's worth it. Especially if this is the case for exclusives for the next 10 years. please feel free to add me, I will be doing the same grind you are.

3 通の返信I made the switch back in March xbox to ps4 and rngesus has been alot better to me since. I now have all 3 characters at level 34, I have a decent amount of exotics including Ghorn, hawkmoon, vex, and the list goes on but very happy since I switched!

1 返信I have both consoles and am primarily on ps4 and think you're making a mistake. The content you're missing out on is so minor. The exclusive strikes are terrible, all but one of the exclusive weapons are terrible. At the end of the day you're gonna spend all that money and time on one game?

5 通の返信Made the the upgrade from PS3 about 3 months ago and I feel silly for waiting so long. It's so crisp and pretty, add Project-626- if you ever need help shooting things.

2 通の返信I did the exact opposite in my opinion , destiny isn't anything but an empty promise and was the only game I really liked for the ps3. So instead I said -blam!- you bungie sold my ps3 with my games n bought a X one[spoiler]best decision ever[/spoiler]

2 通の返信Ps4 is all good and all, but I can't imagine regrinding everything. I've assumed that our time investment is what keeps us coming back to this game. How many people would come back to destiny if all their characters were suddenly deleted.

12 通の返信1. Xbox One is 2 times bigger than the PS4 and has an oldshool external power supply...which sucks ass. Think about carrying it to a friend or something like that (I do that very often). So the PS4 is way better in terms of mobility and rack-space usage. 2. There are two or more times more users on PS4 than on the One, which means you'll find way more peeps to play your desired activity. 3. The hardware of the PS4 will always be better than the hardware of the One. At the end of the day, PS4 games will look better, just like the last PS3 games looked better than the last 360 games. 4. The One controller is a bit better than the PS4 one. 5. The online service and security of the One is better than the one of the PS4. It depends on what you're playing/like the most. If you have Destiny on one console, it's just dumb to play it also on the second one imo. The exclusives for Destiny are okay...but you'll get them in 2 months anyway so it's absolutely retarded to buy a PS4 just for that. Go and play the console that fits best for your purposes.

1 返信I'm not considering switching but I am highly considering purchasing a PlayStation 4. I've never experienced PlayStation (other than a few PS2 games) and I really like the PS4's design, although the only exclusive I care about is FFXIV. I can't afford to build a PC capable of playing that game well, so I figure the PS4 would be the way to go. Plus I'd get to try out their games and experience what their community is like.
