Will Next-Gen Upgrade be extended to include The Taken King?
The Next-Gen Upgrade FAQ has not been updated since May, and I don't see this question brought up anywhere else on the forums, so I'm posting this question. I'm currently an Xbox 360 player, with designs to obtain an Xbox One near the end of this year. My question is, if I purchase the 360 Digital Edition of TTK, will that upgrade for free to the X1 when I switch over, or will I have to buy TTK again for X1?

The original Digital Upgrade Program was offered last minute like one or two weeks before launch of the game. They later extended the Upgrade program for Expansion I & II for an unknown amount of time. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12122 [b]My speculation is the following: [/b] -Bungie may support an updated Digital Upgrade Plan that will be specific to the Take King Collectors Edition (the one that's $60) and The Taken King Digital Edition (ie the one that's $40) and remove support for the Expansion I & II Digital Upgrade program. -Or they may in effect do nothing because rumor has it Destiny 2 will be Current-Gen only (ie PS4 & XBOne) PS. I'm really rooting for the Taken King to get a Digital Upgrade Program as I even made a poll: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/131443388/0/0/1
