I came at Christmas, and didn't raid until about three weeks ago as a 34. When Vault and Crota first came out, how difficult would you rate on a scale of 1-10, 1 being getting the Khvostov, and 10 being not quitting Destiny after getting No Land Beyond, shards, and coins from every nightfall for 3 months.

10 hours to get past the just the gatekeeper section my first time on hard mode should say It all, when your 29 you need to know that place inside and out. Still to this day the most fun I've ever had in gaming

I recall that night like it was yesterday. 6 guardians that ran through those first hours to level up. Finally, the vault was open. All jacked up and ready to take down the vault and reap the rewards she had for us. After that first hour, the door opened. Lol. Now it seems I can do that on my own. We spent hours more working are way through, getting far but not far enough. Fun times.

2 通の返信It used to be easier. Push Templar off of a ledge, and later, push Atheon off of a ledge.

Had no clue what was going on, spent a good 20 minutes at jumping puzzle. Downed atheon in about 5 tries (guys standing at back didnt get teleported, so easier to carry ppl). We didnt even utilize the middle platform and bubble, just everyone shooting like crazy from everwhere. Lvl26 allows revives, so we didnt wipe, just kept going. Just had to retry because we couldnt down him in time before enrage (i bet most people dont even know he can enrage, he dies too quickly nowadays). It was fun, but didnt understand one bit of it. I did learn to fear that damn jumping puzzle :p I got maybe 2 or 3 encounters just like that, because i got randomly invited into a raiding party by just hanging out in the tower. Untill i got a steady raiding group (also random encounter) and have been grinding vog ever since. I never did get that fatebringer or helmet to drop well after tdb was released. Ce was dead easy compared to that. Got most of the gear in the first few weeks. The only thing making it hard was the lag and crota doing silly shit he wasnt supposed to. We recently revisited ce with a buddy (just the two of us) we both wanted a third Black Hammer, that means doing it on easy. Pff what a joke, its an elaborate strike. Did cheeze the bridge tho. Got crota down first try before ogres. And we both got a black hammer (lucky!) Vog was the best, and still is, imo. It can still provide a challenge and the atmosphere is great. Im kinda envious of you, experiencing it for the first time only recently. That first time i didnt know what was going on, but i really did admire the scenery. It was really exciting. I also liked revisiting it in a mission in the dlc, too bad it was so short. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I really hope ttk will have an awesome raid that will surpass vog. Vog, then, a 9 (really hard, especially because nothing is explained), Now a 6, can provide a challenge, but if you know what youre doing, it isnt too hard. Ce, then a 5, only because crota is a bitch, otherwise a 3 Now a 1-2, we can easily two man it, including hard mode (who has the level advangage now, bitch? :p)

1 返信I remember trying our hardest even though we were under levelled at the time - didn't even build the spire! once we levelled up it was still bloody hard at first, a proper challenge, a proper raid

VOG was like an 15 on a scale from 1 to 10, Hard mode as a 28 was hard as f*ck. As a 29 you could hold your own if you knew what you were doing. Crota was more frustrating than hard. Imagine Crota killing the swordbearer in the CRYSTAL room, then magically appearing in the center. So much frustration. Also VOG hard mode Confluxes = SPIRIT BREAKER. Hardest part of the raid.
