Everyone complaining about 40$
If you think it's crap to pay 40$ on the TTK read the photo.
I saw someone else post this, sorry if it's on other threads, just thought everyone should see it.
I don't recall people complaining when the handsome collection came out on Xbox one. Nobody that had Bl2 or even Bl1 asked for it to be free.
Also I got the game the week it came out. I don't need a free expansion just because I've been playing it a long time. Any other game I've gotten the week or day it came out I paid for any dlc that came with it, even if it was crap it was better than being done with the game and not having anything left to do.

Edit: This is on the Xbox live store "to be eligible to receive the VIP rewards, players will need to have at least one light level 30 character or own both expansion I and expansion II on or before 08/31/15 AND purchase and play The Taken King on or before 02/01/16."

The phone/computer you use to post here and game console to play the game and the monthly internet bill are way more expensive than $40. Everyone has a different interpretation of value. Some people literally piss away $40 in beer/soda every week. Others spend that much at fast food every week. How about popcorn at the movies? The list is endless, however, my per hour cost to play Destiny is probably less than .25 cents per hour. That's a great value.

Honestly guys, if you're a pro member with GS, and you play your cards right, you can trade the game in, and buy the Legendary edition and end up saving a lot. Possibly even making money. I did this recently with Shadow of Mordor. I had the game, beat it never played again. Then the GOTY edition came out with all DLC, I wanted the DLC so I had coupons for 20% extra trade in value and then a 30% off new games and accessories coupon and a $10 off reward. I bought the game at $60, the trade value was close to $15, pro members get an extra 10% so it was 16.50, GS happened to be running a deal on 50% extra trade value towards Shadow of Mordor GOTY, so it then became $24 ish, then you have the exta 20% and it then became $28 for my trade value. Then I bought the game with 30% off and it dropped to about $42 and then the $10 off dropped it to $32. So $32 minus $28 is $4. So got all the DLC for $4. I know this was all luck, but if you're a pro member and you've got points invest in the coupons and you just might get lucky. Being a cheap ass can pay off haha.

1 返信Yeah I don't understand why people are complaining, every game ever released has dropped in price and when a GOTY addition comes out its cheaper than buying them separately, so why should Destiny be different?? The only thing which is annoying is not being able to get the exotics if you don't buy it but I can live with that. Also was annoyed that $40 was most likely going to be £40, but I found taken king dlc on the xbox store last night for £27 so am happy with that.

2 通の返信Look at it this was. Will the campaign missions be worth it? If everything upto now has any say then no. The campaign is just a grind to the end game. They would simply be better off giving us a dlc full of endgame content so we have plenty to do. Not like that will make a difference though as we will need vault space to store weapons which i doubt they will give us anymore using the last gen as an excuse

2 通の返信It's not that the price that most ppl are pissed about, it's the exclusive items you get from buying the 80 dollar bundle (it might be 60.) If they let everyone have the exclusive in game Items for buying ttk (the basic bundle), then I'm sure 80% of the hate post would die.
