Does Bungie only want our $?
Okay so here's the deal. And I'm sure this topic is everywhere as of recent. Destiny is selling a legendary game set with all DLCs and the new expansion for $60/80. That's great for new players. But it seems as if the Day 1 players are paying $30/40 for just the new DLC. Why would veteran Destiny players want to rebuy this game and feel like they are saving money? I myself, would be spending $130/140 alone on a game that was not yet finished and that had content stripped from itself. And even if I do decide to get the new legendary set, I'm now spending a total of $160/180!!! For some shaders and emotes?! This is unacceptable to every player that has been here since release. We are the Pioneers and Kings of your game. We help new kids come in and get raids done. We are a great community and should be rewarded for it. Not taxed. Bungie, I feel like you really don't care about pricing and assume we are all wealthy enough to afford all this? We don't all have your awesome jobs working for a video game company. I will not be purchasing the next DLC unless I get a discount for it. I might just rob a gamestop for the DLC. I suggest anyone else that reads this or has played since release, to do the same. We cannot just sit here and wait for something to happen. Bungie says they read the forums. Read this and please consider rewarding day 1 players with a discount to the new DLC or up the cost for the legendary set. Simple as that.

haha sucks for those of you who wasted [b]time[/b]/money on the last DLC. Look at that, youre all complaining anyway. Surprise surprise. Wasted 0$ after the Dark Butthole Below, because i didnt feel like going on another pointless grind; especially not while knowing that if i just wait for Comet(Taken King), i will be accomadated to anyway, because Bungie lovesss [i]New Players[/i]. Im a day 1 and IMO, HOW seemed like a waste of time, and thanks to Bungie's system, i will still acheive the highest level attainable in Comet, regardless of having skipped HOW. Also biggest reason i waited, was cause ive strickly wanted new Subclassess since the first time we defeated Atheon! that Palpatine Warlock ability is exactly what ive been waiting for 😊 As for the [b]actual game/story[/b] getting better(and hopefully [i]more challenging[/i]), my hopes are set for D E S T I N Y 2. But even then, those hopes are slim at best. Good thing im a PvPer.

7 通の返信It's a huge slap in our faces, I bought the Ps4 destiny bundle package, then the season pass. I feel like we've been the game testers since the beginning we've helped bungie more then they've helped us and bungie repays us by phucking us with no lube. That's a load of crap that they're going to offer a package deal for the whole game plus all dlc's for $60/80 WTF! I paid $60 plus $35 and now they expect us to pay $40 for what 3 new sub classes a raid that's probably going to as bad if not worse then Crotas end, it's a joke. For $60 we got destiny with 3 characters 6 subclasses 4 planets many strikes a lot of pvp a raid etc etc. so for $40 I would expect at least 2 planets 1 new character 2/3 the strikes of vanilla 2/3 the missions of vanilla etc etc. we paid $35 for 2 dlc's that were cheaply hashed together and added very little replay able content. I'd say bungie is -blam!- us especially since they plan on reeling in new players with a package deal that cost less then half of what us first month players paid for. We've dealt with so much crap since launch and this is how bungie repays us. In my opinion the next DLC should be free unless like I said it adds at least 2/3's more game then the vanilla content.

Id like to know if TTK will transfer to next gen like the past 2 dlc will. Im a ps3 player and wont have ps4 until christmas. Everything including the game so far will transfer (I got the game on October digitally). Will TTK transfer as well or do I have to buy or twice (September for ps3 and December when I get ps4)

I get that the optics are shitty, but you did get to enjoy the content you purchased immediately upon its release, which has some value. That said, the real sting is realized if you consider that EVERYONE is going to pay $40 for the taken king on the day it's released. Only then do you get to stew on the new $20 price tag for the rest of it, when we all paid over $100. Haven't seen depreciation like that since 2008!

I'm not saying every dlc should be discounted in the future but for those of us that had suffered through vanilla and two half assed dlcs already, we need something. To bad we won't get it because I've already seen dipshits in these very forums starting threads about how they can't order the dlc.
