For me it's my teammates... Several times I've been kicked from parties because I wasn't 34. Last night we were right about to beat him and the host traded me out at the last second.
Naturally, I was infuriated.
The entire time he was complaining about my level, about how I take more damage and deal even less, and he died TWICE as many times as I did most of the time, I saved his dumb ass from a wipe fighting Pilot Servitor TWICE. And we get all the way up to Skolas, and he's like "Oh I knew you were gonna die there," or "I'm only going to attempt this with you 5 times and after that I'm done with you."
So essentially I wasted 3 hours of my time dealing with his bullsh!t and saving the entire fireteam without any gratitude for nothing.
So what's stopping you from beating Skolas?
Edit 1: Jeez, over 300 replies in less than 12 hours... That's insane.
Edit 2: Wow! 500 replies in an entire day! You guys are awesome.

being smart; after reading and listening to all the horror stories of people being bungie'd at the last round i'm just not stupid enough to waste 5 hours doing it. plus the rewards don't seem to be any better than anything else in the game...

7 通の返信
Edit 1: For those of you telling me that I should be level 34 by now, not all of us are lucky with loot drops and can spend endless hours in front of the TV.
If you had just done the level 32 PoE 3 of the last four weeks, and had one piece of exotic armor, you would be level 34 right now.

3 通の返信Dooodleyにより編集済み: 6/10/2015 7:39:10 PM1. Pretty much everyone on my list, including the guy with +2K hours, quit the game so I have no one familiar to play with. None of us asked for horde mode. We just wanted a new raid. 2. So that brings me to LFG'ing on this and other sites. Couple of problems with that: * The vast majority of players here seem totally unfamiliar with how LFG'ing works so I keep getting annoyed by invites to completely random things, to groups that I know have failed and been through 20 other players already etc. * You really have to be on point to find someone eligible to play with here. To make things worse, it became harder to be the first one in line when they scaled down end-game to 3-man activities. I have the app open on my computer, I copy and paste GT's and I'm still not getting invites, which suggests that someone beat me to it. After 30 minutes of shit like that you get tired of it and just stop. And since there's absolutely nothing els worthwhile doing in this game you simply turn off your console to do something els. * The "pleasantries requirement". When you're manually looking for a group it's like there's this requirement that you have to small talk and be actively nice. I -blam!-ing hate that. This is the biggest reason to why I want matchmaking. I just need three players, I never have and never will care about them as people. If I could I would have beaten the content alone, that is however way too time consuming so the other two players are just a means to an end. I want to keep it that way. However, in a 3-man group the content becomes really easy so I honestly don't understand the mic requirement. I know that if I don't have one on or occassionally talk I'll probably get kicked. 3. I find the PoE to be incredibly boring. I've never wanted it, i find horde modes in other games to be far superior to PoE (I dont play them either) and there wasnt a big demand on this site for it. 4. The only reason i beat Skolas in the first place was to get the cipher. I got it and it was bugged so now I'm stuck in a bounty convo with Varik, one I can't accept and the mission is not in my log. I wouldnt be surprised if I never will be able to get the bounty again on that character.

I wouldn't take a 33 with me to fight Skolas. He's a 36 level boss. Sure it's easy to get there but the boss fight is a different battle. I'm sure it can be done and probably has. This is one battle I refuse to carry an under leveled player. I would and have done the 34 with lower level guys.

Yeah.....this week they finished selling the whole lvl 42 set, so using RNG as an excuse for your level is off the table now. It isn't Crota or Atheon, you don't have 5 guys carrying you this time, so either get to the right level, or keep doing lvl 32, getting the armor core, and buying gear, which is what you should have done from the start. And all you needed was 1, just 1 run a week for the last 3 weeks to be 34. Sorry, but it was his party, and he did have a point, even if you survived more than him, Skolas had Solar burn, you would have died from the ricochet alone, but you still have time to do 34, which is ridiculously easy this week, and I thought Urrox was easy. Also if he was complaining so much, you should have just left earlier anyway. From this point on, make your own groups, that way if they leave it's because they wanted to.
