I've been banned in ToO
Okay, so I have been banned or temporarily banned from Trials for backing out. I'm a decent player with a 1.7 K/D in Trials but backed out, I thought it was harmless to back out to secure my win to the Lighthouse. Well, after reading many posts I have came to the conclusion that it was wrong for what I have done. I feel like I should say sorry to the Destiny community and wanted to say how awesome this community is versus CoD, GTA , etc.. I learned my lesson and hopefully I could play Trials with my friends again. But there is one thing I'm confused on. Out of the 3 in my fireteam was not banned. Only 2 have been banned and surprised about that. Thanks for reading, leave a comment tell me what you think about cheating and the proper punishment should be for backing out several times in trials.
Update: Today I was unbanned from Trials and just want you all to know I went flawless after several hours of playing.

1 返信I have the same problem. We were not aware for backing out could cause a ban. We are sorry for that. Please give us an indication about how long we have to wait before we can play too again, or better: unban us if its possible. I think after 1200h playtime and good destiny ratings (destinytracker.com) we do not deserve this. We thought we werent able to play too for 24h, but its been 4 days now. We apologize. 2 通の返信Fair play for owning up I have too commend you on that, but as an obviously fairly decent player, you have gone flawless after all, I cant honestly feel sorry about the ban. Some if us who try trials get slaughtered every time we play but we continue to try because we are determined to crack it. I've never backed out of a match once. Ever. And i cant understand why people would. Surely it's better to take defeat with dignity than lose with dishonour. Or maybe I'm just an old git.

Or would do something else more worse. Their attitude goes to show it. How long did you end up being banned for anyway?

I've done this before and I'm lucky to have not been banned. I look at doing this as something -blam!-ed up (yeah I know, I'm a hypocrite given what I've done), I've learnt from my mistakes. Takes a true guardian to acknowledge that he is not always right, so kudos to you bro! Finish the fight!

Look at moba's. I think it was LoLthat I played once. Wasn't a fan. Was just killed off the bat so I backed out. mind u this is my first time ever playing, 15 minute ban. I was surprised. Then understood the impact on the rest of the team. Soooo I'm not opposed to the band for backing out when u r losing.

1 返信Maybe you should at least lose the emblems until you can truly earn them. Its kinda like robbing a bank then apologizing after your caught but not giving the money back. Just my opinion

6 通の返信I think banning people for this is stupid. It's not hurting anyone and it's their retarded system that needs fixing. You guys found a cheese to the lighthouse. The only reason they're implementing bans is because there is this notion that only elite pvp players make it to the lighthouse. I'm s better then average player. Nothing to write home about but there's guys on my friends list that just down right suck who have made it (w out cheesing). It's luck mostly unless your group is actually better then average in which case you pretty much waltz through every game and have one game that's challenging.

26 通の返信It's not really cheating backing out. You're giving the other team a free win too its like helping others get loot while perseving your streak. Plus if you genuinely play this game you know the real cheaters are final round snipers. How long did the ban last?
