Please stop the Nerf movement.
Time and time again, guardians strive to obtain a hard to achieve weapon, only to have it Nerfed.
Why is it nerfed?
Because of the 'circle of Nerf'.
People cry because they don't have or can't be bothered spending hours, days, and sometimes weeks (yes, that's not a lie... *cough* Thorn! *cough*), unlocking and achieving higher gear.
They wouldn't be crying if they had the gear, only because they don't have it yet, do they whine, sulk, and cry "unfair".
The Dev. Team then Nerfs the "unfair" advantage, making the formerly second most powerful gear, the new most powerful gear.
Prepubescent sulks about 'new' top gear, then once again start the endless cycle of crying 'Nerf' to the new top gear.
I've played almost 500 hours, and still haven't gotten a Ghorn, not to mention one friend with over 900 hours and no Ghorn, but another friends had played a little over 300 and gotten x10 of them, is that fair? Maybe not. Will I complain and cry about it to the Dev. Team? Absolutely not.
Here's why:
As frustrating as it may be hearing my lucky friend shard his seventh redundant Ghorn while laughing through my headset; and as tempting as it is to rage quit in crucible whole getting owned by someone with better gear; I'm an adult and this is just a (brilliant and beautiful) game.
Furthermore, it will be all the more sweeter once I finally get one.
The idea that I find most loathsome, or "unfair", is that after probably 600 hours plus, I'll finally get my coveted Ghorn, think "this is it, my moment has finally come" only to then find out my hard work and invested time now count for nothing, after things being Nerfed a few days before, and now I'm better using a green shotgun than an exotic weapon, all because people keep crying "unfair" rather than putting in the hours.
Does anyone else agree with me here?

3 通の返信At this point, i think what we need is buffs, and alot of them. Not huge buffs, but enough to where people can start using other weapons and we can finally have some divesity instead of everyone putting pressure on themselves to find thay one OP weapon. The old saying, "when everyone's rich. No one is"

I agree with you, it's so tiring that people what stuff nerfed all the time for what? Because they die by it all the time? In trials we faced several teams all rocking Thorn, still over took them, was it hard? Yeah but you have to adapt. Gally I didn't get one until I lost all hope in getting one, then it just dropped from VoG. Still don't have a Black hammer been doing the raid since it came out. There will always be that one item you want but have the hardest time getting. Keep playing and drive on.

3 通の返信Bump! The only reason gamers call for the nerfhammer is because 1. they die from it, and 2. they see others QQ about how they couldn't pwn a gamer who used it against them. Everyone calling gamers who use the Thorn noobs should know that not a lot of noobs have the weapon because the noobs couldn't finish the exotic bounty to claim it. Bungie, please stop nerfing weapons in the name of unfair advantage because that alone is bull****. I've been killed by crucible dropped weapons just as quickly as I was ever killed by Suros, Vex, Thorn or any weapon the QQ are filling your inbox about. Also, nerfing exotics is not fair to the gamers who put in the effort to attain the items. It's just a shame what happened to Auto and Fusion Rifles. Partly in the name of Pulse Rifles and QQers. Jeez!

4 通の返信Certain guns need to be tweaked not nerfed. TLW and Thorn? They need to be tweaked. Why does everyone use a thorn? Its an easy to use.

1 返信It tends to follow the cycle of over-use It needs to happen, whether the nerfs go too far or not doesn't matter What matters is that they actually do something about it

3 通の返信Dude, I don't know if you've noticed, but nearly everyone has the Thorn. It's not hard to get, and it's absolutely broken. If anything needs a nerf in Destiny, it's the Thorn.

I don't consider them OP or unfair simply because I have not mastered using them or have the reaction time to stay alive in an event. Therefore I would never call fo a nerf except for maybe the Suros or Vex in their original form as they were devastating weapons but only for PvP. As far as Ghorn goes I have never been that impressed by it. It usually collects dust in my vault as I refer to use Invective and IB. I think LFG with the Ghorn requirement is rediculous. They do realize that Titans with weapons blessing with most launchers is what's OP. We cleared level 34 with 3 Titans with constant weapon blessings and 1 Ghorn. It didn't really feel like a boss fight so if anything they should be recruiting defender Titans, the Ghorn would just become an extra perk against a now easy enemy to defeat.

1 返信As soon as people find a gun that is effective in PvP, others that don't have want it nerfed. Those people also don't think what that impact will be on PvE.

6 通の返信I have every exotic weapon except my favorite, no kills beyond lol. The weapons balance and leveling system is broken and i have over 2,000 hours that i grinned my but off for every weapon everyone wants. In pvp weapons are way out of whack as balance goes. Pep the same weapons dont work work worth shit In prison 34 and 35 you feel like you're a leve 30. Just because you have the weapons in the trials it dont mean shit if the connection is shit. And hand cannons should not be use like snipers. Shotgun should only have short range, hand cannons mid range, snipers are ment for long rang, gee what a concept lol. When a hand cannon can out do a rocket loncher form across the entire map its ridiculous. Weapon balance is a must in thus game badly....

5 通の返信People have started to whine about it because of trials and IB. Those 2 game modes have highlighted how broken and cancerous it (and TLW) really are. Before you say, "Git good and go get one" I have one, refuse to use it, and am very tempted to scrap it. How about you go move yourself off of a ledge, and bring the other lemmings with you.

Thorn has been in game forever, no one whined about it until recently, don't think it got a buff or anything, ppl are just running into the truly good players in Trials and realizing that their aim isn't as good. Thorn was so incredibly painful to earn, it is literally the hardest gun in the game to get.

2 通の返信Well said. Exotics should be powerful. Otherwise, what's the point? Nerfing great weapons isn't the answer. Bungie needs to buff auto rifles back.

4 通の返信I agree one hundred percent. Look at suros. It used to be awesome now because of the auto rifle nerf it isn't that good. In fact there aren't that many decent auto rifles anymore. They all have sh1tty impact mixed with low stability. Remember when pulse rifles weren't the best in crucible and people complained for a buff, we'll they got their buff and about two or three weeks later they say they want a nerf to the pulse rifles cause their too over powered. This endless nerf loop needs to stop asap otherwise exotics will become worthless.

4 通の返信When it's the only gun being used period and people who don't have it can't even play PvP...PvP will die out like it should. When someone with a mouse and keyboard adapter clicks you twice you're done, or he can just click you once and let you die around the corner... I'd like to see all the Thorn using ladyboys to try not using it for 100 matches...

3 通の返信First, thorn bounty can be completed in a matter of hours. Second, most people who are above lvl 28 have the thorn (a lot of players). Third, if a lot of people who have the thorn think its OP, logically thinking (sorry thats so hard for some of you), couldnt the thorn be considered OP?

1 返信Then why was everyone happy when they nerfed auto rifles in the crucible the thorn is the same thing and when I get shot by it I get a poison effect and when I survive the shot o die because of the poison
