The fact that deej clearly has never played destiny before? Using red death and he is still useless. Also outstanding that the developer was using a scout rifle and auto rifle in a close quarters arena. He failed to do substantial damage or contribute is any form. From what I seen anyway
Edit 1: Grammar
Edit 2: clear up. The full stop after 'useless' referring to deej and the sentence beginning 'also' clearly signifies a new sentence thus new topic.
Our opinion on deej summed up perfectly
It's not a matter of being good at the game. He is not for sure. But he has little knowledge of the game. Community manager I guess just means managing the community. Which even at that is debatable. However he should be the source in which we can gain knowledge if he does not know he should find out and get that information back to us
My opinion on deej.
He is an outstanding writer and personality. He akwardly deals with any gothalian comments fantastically and his weekly updates are great to read.
However he has to understand the game better. He felt so put of place it made me cringe. I just want a better experience for everyone and deej has the perfect opertunity it to provide us all with it but he clearly doesn't play destiny as much as he should, imo.

I'd use red death and if I sucked all day.. Kinda like oh this won't go well better do something so its not epically terrible. A lot of people aren't great at it.. And I think we occupy most of his time he'd like to put into playing what he basically stares at all day, that may also be why he doesn't play at all. I'd rather have him be working for us rather than playing anyways.

1 返信Maybe if the developers actually played they'd realize how bad Auto Rifles are.....

17 通の返信UnwanteDreamzにより編集済み: 5/6/2015 10:51:05 PMI seriously wonder about some of you people. I understand why everyone expects him to be good at Destiny but I think it is unrealistic. This guy goes to work everyday and his 9 to 5 is Destiny. He is obviously not payed to play Destiny but I'm sure his entire day is Destiny related. Now you expect him to go home and use his off time to play Destiny as much as some of you? Some of you don't even have jobs. Who here goes home and does work related shit and enjoys it?
flame away
3 通の返信I have full confidence I could solo the difficulty they were playing on. Also, not hating on developers for not being too good, but it does lower my confidence in their abilities to properly balance weapon classes.

2 通の返信1. They sandbagged so it didnt seem too easy or simple for the community. Because people would bitch about it. 2. They probably wanted to show off different weapon types as much as possible if they all had the exact same weapons then everyone would use that setup because it would be the "best." 3. Deej is community manager not a Destiny gaming star. Dude has barely any hours logged probably because his job is centered around destiny so he doesnt feel the need to play all the time. 4. Why do developers have to be professionals? Most pro gamers i know couldnt write a single line if code but have the reflexes and quick thinking to be good with games. 5. Finally, why do people place so much stock into being good? Its almost as if they are rejected as human beings for not being up to "par" whatever the hell that is. Sure Deej and the devs need to be familiar with their game but they do not have to be godlike when they pick up a controller. And they arent worthless if they are bad. I realize op did not hit on all my points so some are in response to others replies.

4 通の返信Bungie should pay Deej to play the game 2 hours a day, 5 days a week If he needs some help to manage the community in 6 hours a day give him an intern or something idk I get expecting jim to play on his free time isnt fair so i think this is a good option

2 通の返信Why do people edit their post saying "Edit: fixed a word", or "Edit: changed a letter in the 500th paragraph, 30th word". Just edit the damn post and gtfo.

5 通の返信Eh I main a warlock and I was turning on self res for the raid and I sat staring at a screen wondering where it was at for a good 2 minutes even though it was my millionth time switching to it. Could've been an honest mistake.

2 通の返信
Community manager I guess just means managing the community.
You don't -blam!-ing say. I've been saying this from the get go, but with everyone wanting to blame Deej for this and that he is nothing more than a messenger for both parties. Anyone that expected him to be a top notch player was extremely delusional.

1 返信I didn't watch the stream but this is a very interesting read. Including the comments. Makes you think.

Muka Gatalsにより編集済み: 5/6/2015 11:37:04 PMIf you set the game difficulty based on high skilled players...then the game will be failed in public. Most of the players that log in in this site are hard cores. This game only survive if many players can and like to play it. So the game will be set to majority player skill based. Those 3 players just represent the higher skilled casual players...not even average casual players.

13 通の返信Why do people care about them being good at the game or not. I understand the complaints of the lack of details with Broman screaming the whole time. I don't understand the complaints of their skill levels.

2 通の返信While i do think all of them where legitimately bad, i think that they were positioned as such to promote the allusion that this new game mode is much harder than it is in reality. Ill take my new raid now.

I did say to myself a bunch of times "god Deej you suck " and would be safe to say he doesn't PVE much...or destiny much. How many public fails before you start taking it seriously. Oh...you are taking it seriously lol. He never went for a heavy synth. He didn't know anything about sunsinger...watching him look for rebirth was hilarious. I figured he was killing himself when he was last man standing to take the pressure off...but then after enough times I figured out he has no idea how those enemies work. He doesn't play the -blam!-ing game...

Deej doesn't have to be a great player he just needs to have an understanding if the game,a level of education in it and to be able to communicate between bungie and the community. Think of your job, say you are a salesman, you are likely a better salesman than the boss or a human resources manager...a radio announcer for baseball can relate to the game with a level of education despite the fact he probably can't hit a 95mph fastball. Most nfl coaches didn't play at an elite level etc...give the guy a break his job isn't to solo Crota people!
deej for mayor ;)
4 通の返信He's trying to show it off. Same reason why almost everyone who plays the E3 demos are usually mediocre. They're trying to take it slow and show off, not play it for you.
