Basically: Hadronic Essence, Sapphire Wire, Plasteel plating....can we buy them? Cause if anyone is like me and has a primary, secondary, and tertiary character of all three classes usually the first has lots, the second has some, and the last has nearly none. Would love to be able to buy class materials from the speaker as well. Or from the Vanguard reps like Ikora, Cayde, and Zavala.

Just made a warlock but I'm also trying to bring my titan up to date I got maybe 2000 sapphire wire 16 hadronic essence 10 plasteel plating It's a bit of a struggle lol

Throw all your blue engrams into the vault. Decrypt with the character you need mats for
-
Or go to vangaurd armory and buy the green helmets for 250 glimmer to dismantle. If you have plenty of glimmer that's one of the easiest ways or store armor engrams in vault and decode and dismantle on the class you need

This would be outstanding. Sell it alongside spirt bloom, iron relic, ect from the Vanguard quartermaster. My Titan made it too 300 plating before I started the other characters. My Warlock and Hunter float between 0-25 materials and the Titan is in the 25-50 range. I have so much gear sitting on my character waiting for material.

Those types of mats won't be used for HoW gear. All armor will be lvl 34 when purchased or dropped, only have to upgrade the perks which don't require class materials. However, old armor will need to be fully upgraded before you can max those out. I feel your pain, I'm in the same boat.

Titan - 25 Plating Warlock - 200 Essence Hunter - 900 Wire I feel your pain. I usually just throw all my blue engrams over to my Titan.

Farm glimmer, get loot and dismantle it. Then buy even more greens from the vanguard and dismantle them. Simple as that. It's allready in place.
-
I don't think they should. That's the only think that makes you take your time in creating new characters. You're not supposed to be done in a day with a fresh character. Supposed to last a while. Class materials help extend that time.
-
You can buy gear, you can dismantle that gear and get the items, you don't need another way to get them as that is the only way to get them, they are supposed to be broken gear, that's the point, you use broken gear to boost new gear.
-
Maybe They haven't showed us everything yet They never even went to the vangaurd and that's where I would expect to see those materials

You can already buy armor from the Vanguard quartermaster for 250 glimmer. If you don't see that you can buy it from the main Vanguard for whatever they want. Break that down and you have your products
