Destiny has good gameplay. The story is interesting. The voice acting is pretty shit, and there's not a lot to do, but the game is fun. To me, being fun makes the game good.
contradict much? Story is interesting huh? What story? Oh yeah, there isn't one. Voice acting is shit, yes it is. And not a lot to do. That means it's not very fun due to the fact it gets boring really quick. But it's a great game, indeed. Not. Mortal Kombat 1 had a better story, more dynamic gameplay, and more to do on the Genesis and SNES versions then destiny with all its dlc. Pathetic really.

Destiny's story is in the environment. You just can't process it; the way the story is told is too complex for you to try to uncover. Warframe is more repetitive.

  • I don't play war frame. Too boring. Kinda like destiny with its lack of immersion into the story or its lack of story held within the story mode itself, which is pretty sad. Destiny could have been so much more than it was. It could have been the massive, amazing sci fi experience we were promised. Instead, we got this steaming pile of shit that is the game we now know as destiny. There's a reason why very few people play it anymore. Repetition of a few missions being shoved down every players throat, forcing people to play a broken pvp system that breaks even more with every patch, the raids that are the only form of enjoyment remaining (despite how basic and thoughtless they are), are so broken they're not even remotely fun past the first playthrough. Destiny is not a great game. I'm sure I speak for many players when I say this, but had I known how this game would be when I first went into the store to buy it, I would've never purchased it. I've played my fair share of lousy games, and destiny is definitely, by far, one of the worst games I have ever played. I am not stupid nor do I lack the capacity to understand the story. The game simply doesn't have one. The fact that a player would have to go to every location and Hunt around for ghosts and explore just to learn what this game is about is absolutely pathetic. Not to mention, the Terribly written dialogue ("I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" is arguably the worst line ever written, and it's author should get a kick in the teeth) topped off with emotionless, uninteresting characters, and horrible voice acting (despite having so many big name actors to do the roles) sickens me.

All games get repetitive. All games become boring, with the exception of Halo: Reach. I don't play Destiny much anymore, but I won't berate the company because I acknowledge that they tried their best to make a good game (and they made a good game) and put a ridiculous amount of effort into making the game, not to mention updating the game to make it smoother and more enjoyable. And how is the idea of dead ghosts and grimoire cards lazy?
