I don't care if you continue to nerf every other gun in the game (oh wait you have)
I don't care if you take away all the heavy and specials
I don't care if you make all the bounties about "hand cannons"
I think they look stupid..... I think the "auto aim assist" is pathetic.
I don't care if my K.D falls to .005 and I am the only one left out of 10 million players not using one of those things....
In other words, since the game has come out you have nerfed just about every cool weapon out there in "the name of balance". I have been playing crucible all night, I guess 90% handcannon was the goal?
or maybe you meant balance between Thorn- Hawkmoon- The Last Word and Timur's lash? Because that is pretty balanced.

Cool Pretzelにより編集済み: 4/27/2015 2:14:10 PMA) Scout rifles weren't nerfed, and pulse rifles were given a buff. B) They took away some special that isn't needed unless you use special for the entire game. Heavy remains the same. C) New hand cannon bounties were never made. Also, there is no need for quotation marks around the words 'hand cannons'. D) All weapons have aim assist.

2 通の返信They nerfed hand cannon range. TLW can't get you from a distance and Thorn is no longer basically a sniper. I believe they also nerfed the aim assist. Besides, I see a fair amount of Pulse Rifles in PvP. I can't tell you how many people just charge into the fray with Thorn, get about one body shot on me, and then get murdered by my Stranger's Rifle.

Fromage of Havocにより編集済み: 4/24/2015 10:45:19 PMI use everything, including "stupid handcannons". As a matter of fact, HC was one of my first guns after the Khvostov, and I stuck with them (pve though, preferred PRs for PvP) until I hit 20. But I can relate to your OP. For a long time I transitioned into PRs (prebuff and PvP only) and would say the same thing about ARs. I just refused to use "stupid ARs", even for the AR IB bounty. Then on the IB before last I just decided I'd stop being so stubborn and do the damn bounty. Hand cannons were already popular before the nerf-waves. Crucible was mainly dominated by ARs and HCs before them too. ARs took poops of nerfs, so...guess what a lot of AR users did? I see people using PRs, sure, but not nearly as many as I thought I would post buff. In contrast, I used PRs a lot for PvP when people said they sucked; my mates laughed at me for using it. Did I stop to blame my performance on "ARs being OP and overused"? No... Did I open a thread about it? No...I kept on using them. Just use what you want, man.

If you didn't care... Why make a post about it on Bungie.net? That's a pretty blatant indication that you care, and that it bugs you quite a bit. Regardless, I do want to point out, besides the blanket Hand Cannon nerf (Yes, they did nerf them by reducing their range significantly and giving them mysterious "less initial accuracy", which I'm still wondering about), Thorn, Hawkmoon and The Last Word have essentially worked the same way since launch. True, they did make it so Thorn has three more bullets and reloads faster, but they didn't change it's Impact, Rate of Fire, or even the Damage-Over-Time. Part of the reason Hand Cannons are so popular is not only due to the three aforementioned exotics, but because in general, they reward good aim and are pretty consistent. The thing is, Pulse Rifles have become extremely formidable in Crucible, Auto Rifles aren't down-and-out yet, and Scout Rifles are still the most effective Primary at long range. You don't need a Hand Cannon to do well in Crucible. Saying that you do is, quite frankly, so much hyperbole.

SlickDanにより編集済み: 4/24/2015 10:42:10 PMI agree. Naturally everyone is going to use what they deem to give them the quickest and easiest kill. So it's no surprise that they are rampant in the crucible. This leads to a chain reaction though because everyone else will feel compelled to use these as well to stay relevant to the majority. However the best players can be good with any gun. Disclaimer: I am in no shape or form among the best players lol.
