No, this game does not ever need the broke arse halo ts system ever. or any other ranking just so some silly twat can brag about being a level 50 or what ever.
that is why halo reach did not have it anymore to stop the stupid childish boosting and account selling that was caused by the halo 3 ts system.

LOL.. sorry but wrong kiddo, there is no rage at all in my comment over it. This game is not a vanity game, it does not need some sort of ts maker for players to brag about. For games are not about bragging how well you did compared to someone else, it is about playing for fun and enjoying yourself. the stats are there to see if you are doing better, not as some bragging tool of "HEY! look at me!!!!" like so many players try and use them for to stroke their pride and ego about playing a video game.

A ranking system would be a good thing cause you wouldn't heard of players who bragg about themselves cause you will be in the low tier and will continu to complain about the lag and others stuff while playing for fun together you and your low skill teammates. So it will give me a good challenge... and you will be happy to play with others unicorns who play for fun..... without encounter great players like me and others mates who like bragging about there good stats. Sry for my bad english bro ....hope you understand

Halo reach was hated because of the AA's die hard Halo 3 fans could not wrap their head around them and new players were dominating them because they could. If you need a rank or symbol by your name for playing a game then you are playing for the wrong reasons. You play for fun, not to brag about how you did in a game that means jack shiet nothing when the game is off or out of the console.

There's no harm in giving competitive players an incentive. For some people ranking up and get to the highest rank in a game is fun. Don't judge other peoples' fun. I was extremely good at reach, holding a 3.8 k/d. I didn't find it fun though. It was just simply boring and gave me no reason to continue playing. Armor abilities made it extremely unbalanced, and yes, contributed to its fall as well as no skill based ranking system. I've never heard a logical defence for Reach or a lack of a ranking system. Your argument is no different. You simply just don't want it because you either want to hinder others' fun, or you don't want other people to see how bad you are. No ranking system simple just is to make the game more friendly to casuals who don't others seeing if their bad.

This game was not meant for the diehard mlg/gb wannabe type players, this game was more meant for the casual gamers. Not bungies fault if you thought otherwise. Reach did have and use a skill based ranking system, it used the TS system just was not shown anymore as a number. It was the number that people cried about for it has a direct easily identifiable thing. Where as the badges they used were not. A lot that cried where the 50 boosters, and account sellers, they could not do that anymore with reach for it meant less in reach since the rank was reset often and not static as it was in Halo 3.

Yes it was, the arena was skill based. it took several games after each reset to group people properly. it just no longer showed the number but showed a emblem instead. the regular pvp was not skilld based and neither was Halo 3's either.

wrong, it was removed to stop the account selling, people just cried about it not being shown anymore because they did not have something to brag about anymore and that was never the reason for it in the first place.
