Is helm of saint 14 good?
I just got one from a nightfall and dont have a Titan but if its good Ill make a titan to use it.
Edit: Due to the good ratings of it I have deleted my extra hunter and am starting a Titan. Maybe they aren't so bad after all.

Helm of saint 14? Blinding enemies in a bubble also causes them to walk, that's right, walk, out of the bubble not defending them selves. Lure in enemies, or drop on enemies, and shotgun/LMG until there are no more targets. Repeat for fun.

3 通の返信Setup your titan with: melee kills make orbs during force barrier, increase strength and duration of force barrier, and the bubble that gives you a shield. Pop bubble in a mob of enemies and go mike titan on em. You'll generate orbs like a sunsinger.

It's one of the most useful pieces of Titan armor in the game. The blinding effect it gives a defender Titan's ward of dawn can really save your team at the various choke points in the raids. I use it throughout VoG, and I use it until the Crota fight in CE, at which point I switch to Ruin Wings.

1 返信A hunters opinion: The helmet is great helping the team in raids. However, I feel it's uses in Pve outside raids could be less. I'm not sure on the applications in PvP. Very team oriented, and I'm always glad to see a titan in it.

2 通の返信Everyone has an opinion; few actually know. I was a Titan defender BEFORE it went mainstream, so you'll probably wanna hear my thoughts. First, it's situational. I wouldn't use it in rumble or in skirmish, but in control it's hands down the best way to lock down a target. Second, it's also handy in most "iffy" situations. If you're not sure your team can effectively help you protect the confluxes, cover the totem, etc, you'll wanna have this to keep the pressing ads from killing you before you can kill them. Add a shotty for maximum delight. After those two scenarios, I find myself very often using glasshouse to make sure team-mates can run around with extra damage for longer or using backup plans to make sure I have a longer shield buff. Armamentarium is really good too for the extra grenades and tons of ammo. If you're running the pvp eternal bubble strat you'll like alpha poopy. Ruin wings are fun to use obviously, and I'd recommend them as well if you're just looking for ammo and good times. That's all the defender exotics worth mentioning that I have. So for an example: in crota's end, I start with armamentarium (to use spike grenade on thralls) then swap to backup plans for the bridge (unless I have a bad team, then I'll use saint 14), then swap to glasshouse so everyone can have strong long lasting blessings for the hallway and ir-yut, then end with ruin wings for killing crota, unless it's a bad team in which case I'll have glasshouse again to make the dash to the ogre room easier. So in conclusion, it's situational, but you'll find it to be in your top 3 best non-situational picks. My favorites are ruin wings, saint 14, and glasshouse.
