We should have the ability to adjust the difficulty of patrol mode, as once you hit level 20, patrol becomes extreme easy, and the missions become monotonous. As it goes higher...

- [b]Patrol missions become more complex[/b]; multi step patrol missions that involve more than just shooting stuff and Standing still for a few seconds
- [b]"Enemy is moving against each other" happens more often, in more areas. [/b]

Blizzards and Sandstorms can appear in the Cosmodrome and Mars, respectively. Reduce visibility and movement. Moon could spin out of orbit temporarily. Sparrow will inaccessible. Thunderstorms can occur on Venus. This will cause your radar to malfunction a la Inferno Mode Crucible.
- [b]Loot and rewards increase in value.[/b]Enemies drop rare and legendary engrams more frequently the higher in difficulty we go.
Patrol missions will reward more reputation, and will give more planetary materials, based on the difficulty of the patrol setting. Majors have a chance to drop materials such as Strange Coins, Motes of Light, or Ascendant Shards and Energy. In public events, rewards are distributed based on performance in the event. The more damage you do a target, or the longer you hold down the Warsat, or the more enemies you defeat, the greater your rewards. Prevents AFKers from joining an event for the rewards, but not taking part in it.

1 返信Main problem with increased difficulty is that patrol is done in a social space. So you can't increase the level. Weather on the planets is a cool idea but your talking running into the same memory issues as before with added effects bogging down the system something else would have to suffer. Nice idea not practical

Good idea on Patrol, but it would only work with a new and much more difficult map. Patrol is supposed to be shared and I love helping level fours wipe out a wave of fallen. Only if there was, say, a level twenty planet, could this work. A level four would be crisp, even without public events.

As long as the marks go up I'd agree with everything but ; 1. Increased waves on warsat is a bad idea, three to five waves is plenty and it you increase the enemy level it'll be extremely hard already. I can't imagine how difficult a gold star would be to get if the first wave was all majors and ultras with shields 2. Blue engram's should be increased and purples by maybe a .5% increase but not to the level of always running patrol and in an hour leaving with 3 legendary engram

The only good thing in your post if the weather ^^ Everything else you are suggesting would ruin everything in the game. Patrol is a shared experience which is for lower levelled players to do the story missions. What you see and what they see is the same you can't make it different or there is no point of it being an online game. Your idea of increasing everything like Majors, public events and rewards make bounties super easy to complete as well as increased rep and legendary engram's would just unbalance the game. your idea of public even rewards based on performance is no different than the people in PVP moaning how they got the most kills but get no rewards, the game is RNG and will stay RNG to make it fair. Also you make it pointless for people to join in half way through if they just spawned into patrol and see the event. Obviously the people bumping this just see "increased rewards" and think its amazing way to get more stuff since they cant be asked to work like everyone else.

Love it. What I want is an option for varied enemy patrols too. I enjoy the Hive randomly appearing with the sword but it would be nice if you had Fallen appearing on Mars or the Cabal on earth sometime. Just some variation/randomness.
