Why certain "girl gamers" get attacked in-game.
[u][i][b]*this list is ONLY about the girl gamers who do this stuff, it is not about girl gamers as a whole. I'm not saying that all of them are like this, I'm saying that the ones like this are attacked for these reasons*[/b][/i][/u]
1) [b]They constantly talk about how they're a girl.[/b]
We get it. You're a girl. Are you bragging or some shit?
2) [b]They blame their lack of skill on their gender.[/b]
Don't try that shit. There are thousands and thousands of gifted girl gamers. You just suck because you suck, just like me.
3) [b]They act like they should be given more lenience because of their gender.[/b]
If you are in my fireteam, you are not a girl gamer... you're just a gamer. That's all, that's it.
4) [b]They put "[Girl]" in their LFG posts.[/b]
You might as well just put "[Thirsty]". Hell, right now, there's an LFG post in the PS3 Crota Hard that says;

STOP GIVING GIRL GAMERS A BAD NAME. JUST PLAY THE GAME. If you're offended by this, then you probably fall into one or more of these 5 categories of sheer stupidity. [b][u]If you're a girl and you play, that's [i]awesome.[/i][/u][/b] Just as awesome as the guys. However, we don't need to hear it every five seconds. We're aware that you're a girl. [u][b]There are [i]definitely[/i] d-bag guy gamers and they're obviously annoying.[/b][/u] However, at the same time, they're just as annoying as any girl gamer who does any of the things I've outlined in this thread.

I've played with a few girl gamers. A recent 1 is exactly like you describe and basically wants carrying through everything for as little effort as possible. The other... WOW... She soloed the whole of hard Crota carrying 5 dead male guardians from the abyss to the crystal without even dying... What a woman!

1 返信I am a female and I feel this is correct. I do 0 of these things, and I hate any girl that calls themselves a "girl gamer" in general. I could care less about your sex, as long as you don't suck ass, I'm cool with playing with you.

2 通の返信I have a female friend who plays Destiny and she always plays herself down. Like she would say: "I made it this far even though I am a girl" etc etc. I really like her but I think that is just annoying. What does your gender have to do with anything? You can either play the game or you can't. Yes I know there are less female gamers out there than male gamers but that is not due to any female gamer having less skill than their male counterpart. Because they don't. Some guys suck and some girls suck, some girls will kick your ass some guys will kick your ass. End of story. Proof in point: My wife would probably kick my ass in crucible even though I have my moments where I outshine her. Briefly.

You've gotta be talking about little girls, like kids, because I've played with a lot of grown women on destiny and none of them do that. And if they're kids they're just doing kid things. Either way even if you're right you still look stark raving mad for giving so many f ucks.

2 通の返信I find the making sure they know Shes a chick thing pretty spot on. I can't count how many times I've gotten into a group. And it's usually with 4 guys and a chick they know. Always letting you know Shes a chick like igaf And surprisingly always talking shit if they have their virginswatforce along side them.

6 通の返信Well I'm a girl that plays destiny! But I wouldn't say that I'm a gamer. And I do point out my gender when I'm getting call bro. Or when they say things like that dude did it. And since this is the first game I have played since Mario! I do say I suck. But that's cause of my skills. I used to say it was a cause I was a girl. And I have stopped that because of now knowing girls play as well! I feel like I have gotten better. But I'm still not sure if I'm worthy enough to be called a gamer!

I have actual Women on my Roster, 1 of which 2 personed Normal Crota with me last night in an hour. If anyone on my list acts like a Gender Queen and you know who you are gentlemen I remove you. Keep your battle for equality in your pants and pick up your Gjallarhorn cuz it's time to down Crota!

That being said, you aren't right because the people you're describing are girls, or gays or religious zealots or any other secondary or tertiary trait. People who act like the girls you're describing here are assholes. Assholes come in more flavors than ice cream and pizza combined and they're always looking for something to ruin. Edit: Ooh! I forgot one... Potheads/Alcoholics constantly reminding you that they have a substance abuse problem and then acting in a way stereotypical of the substance they abuse. Major assholes those. Edit 2: Also vegans and food allergy people. General disclaimer: Let's please remember that this is about assholes. Not 100% of any of the groups of people listed but the percentage of those groups made up of assholes who use their membership in those groups as an excuse for their asshole behavior.
