Husk of the Pit is myth
I have killed over 600 hundred Blades of Crota (611 to be exact) and still have yet to receive one. Fist of Crota, Earth missions and patrol, Moon missions and patrol, you name it, I've tried it. I have killed many across all three characters and have yet to even see someone receive one. I have come to the point of wanting this so bad that I deleted a charter and started a new one. I am so desperate as Nechrochasm is the only exotic I'm missing and I have the Crux of Crota and an Embalming orb. I have started to believe it is nothing but a cruel inside joke. Rant over.
Edit: 619 now, thanks to all the people that wish they could give me theirs, I would gladly trade a Gjallarhorn for one.
Edit: After this I guess I will just keep count of how many I have until I get it and edit it every week and then I will be done, currently at 621.
Edit: I am aware that Nechrochasm is complete shit but think, if you were only missing one exotic you would try too.
Edit: I think it's been a week or so and now I'm at 631. But hey Xur is selling don't touch mes this week so I'm okay.
Edit: I know no one probably cares anymore but I will update this to keep what thin strand of sanity I have left from tearing, 663 and still nothing but shitloads of black wax idols, heavy synths all round my boys!

1 返信I seem to get them on Earth, right where you start the patrol missions in Cosmodrome, sometimes a Blade will spawn in the underground subway (where the 3 Hive majors are) I've gotten 3 husks of pits from the blades in that location, killed hundreds of them in other locations, never gotten a husk from anywhere but on earth in that subway. I'm sure its just coincidence, though

3 通の返信It's not a joke, it's your HARD Mode. You proved to RNGambi that you are the bane of Oryx, so your legend is far from over, this auto rifle will be a fitting trophy. Transformed by your hands and fury, a legendary exotic than no one can cheese. Stand tall guardian, there are some with double your playtime and yet a have a primary inventory slot as yearning as yours.

1 返信The way i got it was doing Fist of Crota on hard, then again on hard, then on normal Hard hard normal Over and over, total of like 20x and it dropped Maybe switching it up like that helped maybe i finally got lucky with something in this game

2 通の返信I started farming for it, did it after 8 blade kills, I've upgraded it to eidolon now. Then I got another one later, I'd give you it if I could P.S. I don't have Nechrochasm but eidolon ally sucks so don't be too upset

Stop farming the blades and just kill them for the daily bounties and when you just happen to cross their path while doing other bounties and you will get one.
