Husk of the Pit is myth
I have killed over 600 hundred Blades of Crota (611 to be exact) and still have yet to receive one. Fist of Crota, Earth missions and patrol, Moon missions and patrol, you name it, I've tried it. I have killed many across all three characters and have yet to even see someone receive one. I have come to the point of wanting this so bad that I deleted a charter and started a new one. I am so desperate as Nechrochasm is the only exotic I'm missing and I have the Crux of Crota and an Embalming orb. I have started to believe it is nothing but a cruel inside joke. Rant over.
Edit: 619 now, thanks to all the people that wish they could give me theirs, I would gladly trade a Gjallarhorn for one.
Edit: After this I guess I will just keep count of how many I have until I get it and edit it every week and then I will be done, currently at 621.
Edit: I am aware that Nechrochasm is complete shit but think, if you were only missing one exotic you would try too.
Edit: I think it's been a week or so and now I'm at 631. But hey Xur is selling don't touch mes this week so I'm okay.
Edit: I know no one probably cares anymore but I will update this to keep what thin strand of sanity I have left from tearing, 663 and still nothing but shitloads of black wax idols, heavy synths all round my boys!

1 返信Try with another character. I pretty much got 1 each character but I was stupid and broke down my first 2 before I found out what it was.

1 返信Make sure you let the acolytes finish their ritual before killing them this seems to help, I do not know if it is proven or not though.

7 通の返信One of the first to get it and have over 50! It's evolution is the only thing amazing. The Necrochasm is crap! The designer should shoot themselves with it: but wait, it won't kill them either..

1 返信I understand I got two in one day after a friend told me about it and have not seen one since and have killed sh$tloads of them for bounties. So I don't know what to tell ya. It sucks but I know you want it for your collection . I got both of mine from skywatch if it helps and never do bounties there so I really haven't killed any in skywatch since . I would suggest you keep trying there - best of luck

1 返信Am I wrong or does it have nothing to do with killing sword bearers. I rolled up on a acolyte summoning whatever I killed him stole his Urn and killed the 3 protectors and that's how I got mine outside the terrestrial zone

1 返信I got one the 1st week of the dlc then finally got another a week ago, while ranking it up doing bounties I got a 3rd last night so I don't know what to tell you lol

Try it on other characters perhaps? Who knows how many kills I got on my warlock, then just happened to be doing that fist of crota mission on my Hunter and got it first kill. Then again on my Hunter a week or so later.

1 返信So I'm not the only one. I have played pretty much every day since TDB dropped, taken down sword bearers at every opportunity, and still haven't seen The Husk of the Pit.
