So I finally got a little revenge. A while ago I got kicked by randoms to make room for a friend after basically carrying the strike. One was still a friend when I checked and saw them in nightfall with another low level before defriended. Since then I usually ask to be fireteam leader due to that when I play with randoms and usually don't get much of an argument. They seem ok if they bring up better connection as a reason not to, but in my latest nightfall I was suspicious from the start. They refused to pass the leaders spot just saying it doesn't matter over and over and very dismissive. They were a team of two so I was already wary and they seemed to sketch out a little when I mentioned I do it to not get booted. Halfway through one died in a spot we had no hope of getting to for a while. He passed the fireteam leader to quit and rejoin but I guess he accidentally passed it to me. He immediately said "crap wrong person we can't..." Then was immediately quite and it appeared that they then went into a party together. That was too much so I booted both. Anyone else think I guessed right or did I jump the gun? I can't think of what else they could have meant.
