Screw that noise. Emotions for the D-Pad is such a waste of a button on the controller!
We don't want more emotional options, we want to be able to activate a heavy synth or change between two primaries, secondaries, and heavies! Let the D-pad help during a fire fight, not give us more useless actions that have zero bearing on success of a mission.
It's so annoying that I have to run and hide to change from sniper to shotgun, AR to Hand Cannon, or LMG to Rocket Launcher. Make that 'ol D-pad useful and make them swappable hot keys!

The fact you lose ammo when going from shotgun to sniper is an important function. Keeps people from being OP.

That is ridiculous. How does losing/keeping ammo when swapping weapons make one over/underpowered? How does this 'function' keep Crucible humming? Looking back, how would any fight across history operate under such a rule? Are we supposed to squint and pretend we are fumble-thumbs losing ammo every time we weapon-swap?

It was actually a post that Deej responded to here on these forums. Some guy posted that it was annoying that he would lose ammo during a firefight when he switched between different weapons. He tagged Deej on it and lo and behold, our community manager actually responded! I read it like two weeks ago, but even though Deej said the Dev's were aware of it and will be working on it I highly doubt it will get patched soon, if at all. I'll see if I can't find it again for you.
