Regardless of your interests, PAX is pretty amazing. Most people love the opportunity to play a lot of games before they're friends (bragging rights are pretty sweet in that regard), and then there's the community. Personally I don't care to wait in line for five hours to play something I'll own in a month's time, but it is a really great time to meet up and hangout with people you spend all year chatting online with. It's always nice to meet some of the best friends I've had in person. If you can make the trip, it is something worth trying, at least once in your life. But don't put it off too long, there's a lot of walking so you need to still be young and spry. :P
