where do I start, though? I hate complaint posts, but I've seen Bungie do better, and know they can do better. So do it. most of my friends are quitting D2, I'm losing my raid team, and here's why: -The new event promised a cool new armor set, but it's just a recolor of an old armor set because they decided last minute to put the cool one in the micro-transaction store, and then they want to be congratulated for not doing that. All of the armor from this season is just recolors, and the Taken armor (the one players have been wanting for 8 years) is 15$ [i]per character[/i] on top of 30 more spankers if you want to shader other armor to match it! -They brought back a fan favorite location just to use old enemies that are out of place, but nooo, they can't use [i]those[/i] old enemies, they gotta use some Choral red legion or something, just to be lazy. and they mocked the community for asking them to just listen to the community. -They said they'd slow down on nerfs unless it was urgent, but 3 particular weapons have been running competitive gamemodes for a month and a half. but when a fun PVE weapon is being used a tad bit too much, it gets nerfed the same day. this has happened 3 times already after they said that. -Bungie said that the power grind wasn't a big enough focus last season, SO THEY TURNED THE WHOLE FRICKING GAME INTO A POWER GRIND. -Slow-play activities have an extremely punishing timer that takes away your revives and gives you worse loot if you don't speedrun and straight up skip parts of a mission, while also making you have to do higher rank missions with -40 your usual power, making grinding for power fricking useless because it TAKES YOUR POWER AWAY IN THE HIGH LEVEL MISSIONS ANYWAY. -Bungie said the anti-cheat has recieved an update, but I've seen MORE cheaters after the update. -The only way to get loot that's worth a damn is playing the new content, because any content before this update only drops 200 power gear, so there goes the past 8 years worth of game AGAIN! (the max power is 550 btw) -The portal is confusing, unfun in every possible way, and is just a shallow excuse to re-add old content without adding old loot. Just remove it, it's not working out. I don't want a different game, I want destiny 2, but the game I want is being erased. and not even little by little, it's being erased FAST. 70% of the game is already gone, and everything before Edge of fate is about to join it in the content bin.
