Joxer’s Longsword
I was very excited to use this weapon in pve specifically because the perk combos. Why on earth doxed it only have 20 rounds in the mag!!?! I am reloading way too often . I really don’t understand why it feel so e of these weapons need low ammo like this. It does t feel good at all! The perks are great so open up the fun in this game. You can’t afford to make things unfun this far in the lifespan of this game.
Edit: I notice some people saying it’s the same ammo for all the archetype and that’s fine. I’ll give an example.
ie: I am doing master solo lost sector and I proc volatile rounds for barrier o n the champ and when they put up the bubble I have reload before I can pop that barrier. Grandmaster nightfalls will be worse. It’s just dumb. Give it more ammo in the mag.

5 通の返信To be fair, it is one of the balancing points of the archetype. They have very long reach for its DPS. So let’s take a look at their competition. Aggressive Burst frames have comparable DPS and range but they have significantly lower handling and reload speed. High impact frames have similar range, handling, and reload speed, but their DPS isn’t as good. Heavy Burst frames’ main balancing levers are their mag size and reliance on crits compared to other pulses.

2 通の返信Your example has nothing to do with the point others brought up. Joxers has the same mag size as all other heavy burst pulses. I’ve never had an issue with the mag size of that archetype given how hard they hit per shot.

4 通の返信I love mine with destabilizing rounds and this seasons artifacts. I just hang back in the nether and clear areas fast. But yes. 20 rounds goes by fast.

4 通の返信I was excited when I first saw the pulse, especially because I really like Grav Lance... But in actual use, I havent really taken to it well. It just doesnt feel right, not sure why. Low ammo in the mag sure doesnt help either. Almost forced to use backup mag. Maybe I need more time with it? Maybe it was the connection in the games that I was using it in, but I felt that it was hard to get crits compared to other pulses, and it felt clunky with 50 handling.

I've enjoyed some PVE combos and slowly learning it in PVP after some frustration. PVE (that I have tried and recommend or will hold on to for now) -- Enlightened Action/Strategist + Destabilizing Rounds [i](must have ads)[/i] -- Dragonfly/EA + Withering Gaze [i](Withering Gaze for bigger baddies, dragonfly fun for ads)[/i] -- Repulsor Brace + Withering Gaze [i](I guess why not.. standard boring)[/i] ...thinkin Dragonfly + Demoralize might be worth testing as both need precision and maybe Dragonfly will spread demoralize better? (at least very clearly to you that you got a precision kill) PVP... honestly at first was excited and had 1 good outing and then didn't like it for a bit... and then after a bit of a pause I decided to accept the fact that it fires different I have to pace myself and it started making sense.. ...I don't think anything left column really makes sense to me other than enlightened action (to makeup reload and handling).. I guess lone wolf ok.. right column I dont know.. hate using withering gaze/slice in a PVP setting.. didnt see much difference in headseeker.. probably cause the 2 burst.. so I'm kinda leaning to under pressure from the guns weakness and low ammo means you'll get it soon... so oddly I'm gonna say my super sleep godroll in PVP(mnk) = EA + Underpressure/High Impact Reserves ... probably leaning into stability with everything else over handling because its just not meant to be high handling at 324 RPM. So basically leaning into the short mag...
