The removal of legendary shards should never have happened but now they’re gone we need more consistent ways to get glimmer.
If it’s going to cost 25,000 to focus an engram you should get at least that per crucible game / strike.
It feels horrible having to stop what you’re doing to go and farm public events.

If you actually play the game glimmer is never an issue. I spend more at 500k then there is things to buy, literally buying raid banners and then deleting to keep of the glimmer cap. Not to mention the millions of stored glimmer in my vault.

1 返信Legendary shards were the backbone of the economy, and shifting it to glimmer cause a knock-on effect where nothing is quite balanced between currency acquisition and costs + player value. Like as an easy example if you need to level up a piece of armor, it never feels good to run out of glimmer for that. It's all hassle, no value. We're in a situation where having maxed out resources doesn't feel good or like you're prepared, but running out is just eyeroll inducing. I also think the reason is funny too, they did it effectively to get rid of old money, ppl with so many legendary shards that playing for currency just wasn't a thing, trying to inflate play time, but I'm still just breaking down my 500+ rain makers to not have to go grind anyway. Still old money, it's just blue now.

3 通の返信Millions to be made doing alter of sorrows on the moon.. Great way to test builds and make a ton of farmable currency .. definitely slept on by many.. but usually, always 3-4 minimum other Guardians joining in I probably have a couple million

9 通の返信The economy is fine, made me play 90% less than usual this IB and installing PoE2 as we speak. A bungie has to do what a bungie does. I’ve got 40+ IB engrams just sitting there and 0 glimmer. Yeah, not going to spend a whole weekend day grinding glimmer in public events. Instead of grinding glimmer to focus 40 guns that have a useless origin trait for pve and are only usable in pve (rocket sidearm, stasis machine gun), on top of Archons abysmal stats I will be enjoying my time. See you at the end of act 3, final week when they’re done drip feeding you the exotic mission weapon catalysts over the course of several weeks. A void exotic shotgun… yeahhhh idk.

8 通の返信I always have more than 250,000 and I don’t do public events unless I have a quest or bounty.

2 通の返信I did a tonic of glimmering and changed ghost to glimmer finder, got the same 9,000 after crucible match I had gotten prior with no glimmer finder, no tonic. Long story short wasted legendary glimmer tonic. Hooray for me!!

3 通の返信I wonder if this is a problem unique to newer players. I can’t even count how much I have in depreciated materials and items at this point

2 通の返信I don't have too much issue with the glimmer thing just wack the ghost mod thing on and drop a glimmer tonic and it soon clocks up doing basic run around stuff the limit should be higher on how much you can have at one time. The thing that really hacks me off is this say you buy something from the store with brightdust and you want it on all your chars they then charge you glimmer to redeem it on them even though you've already 'paid' for it.

1 返信The entire economy in the game is not great. Upgrade modules, prisms, cores, tokens, strange coins, tonic crap, glimmer, shards etc. The entire system needs a complete overhaul.

3 通の返信nonchalantoneにより編集済み: 12/7/2024 8:54:40 PMI know, right! My Guardian girlfriend (Hunter, of course, men of culture know why) ....asked me to take her outside of the tower for Ramen! I said my glimmer is low! "Glimmer over Women"! Had to hit some patrols for that cash! 😂

Switch up planetary mats at the cryptarc for a lot of glimmer. Newer players might struggle with this still. Still seems excessive... 5k would have been enough, if glimmer is required for IB engram focusing.
