The delay was never official, it was just hearsay.

My guess is they don't have a new date yet.

From what I've been reading it was pushed till June 2024 now. If that's the case what content will Bungie fill the 3 to 4 month void with???

Technically Final Shape has already been delayed a year. What we got in Lightfall I’m convinced is filler and they’ve had all the extra time to put into FS. However they claim they want it to be Forsaken level? Forsaken gave us 2 locations, raid, dungeon, new enemy race, 9 supers, and technically an entire new core playlist gambit. Currently FS is probably going to give us 3 supers, one location, one raid, and two new elite enemy types. I actually really like when they added brigs/wyverns, lucent hive, and tormentors. Bit more engaging! I hope we will be surprised and that they knock it out of the park with Final Shape, but even with the Lightfall distraction/delay… I think they will not top Forsaken.
