There seems to be a general consensus among people that play pvp a lot that faster has usually been better. Titans and the offensive defense make it hard to see the game ever being all that much faster.
No other character can run at you and do so many defensive things in an offensive way. People use bubble like it's an offensive super.

Probably because the kinda broken hit registration on the supers melee's with not a lot of range outside of it's shield throw which has like a 10 second cooldown meaning you get 1-2 per a super without outside factors such as mayhem or doom fang
