Isn't it weird that Iron Banner just doesn't get brand new guns anymore?

2 通の返信IB has outlived its usefulness. We obtain weapons from more sources than we did years ago when IB was an important source.

The only Iron Banner I wanted is the Iron Lords armor sets but as ornaments....you know the ones that gives your armor a bit of a burning wolf on the chest piece, flaming helmet and stuff. Like the ones in D1 The Rise of Iron DLC

2 通の返信Doesn’t really get new armour either. It’s mostly been reissued armour. The current set is nice but it’s a D1 set. They had a shadowkeep set that they reissued again in beyond light, then year 1 stuff slowly reissued again. Anyone remember when there was actually a NEW set? I can’t lol

1 返信Making content is hard. Easier to recycle guns and make them strand and call it “new”. Oh cool another gun with hatchling……

The only thing keeping this walking corpse of a game going is the playerbase who either too new to know what a dumpster fire this game is or the delusional veterans hanging on a hope and a prayer that the game will live up to the potential it could have had long ago.

4 通の返信Isn't wierd at all Free To Play is what happened In D1 we got a full suite of new weapons every update, because you had to buy the full game to access Iron Banner

Their PvP team was moved to Marathon, no matter what lies they tell, Bungie abandoned this game's PvP years ago. It doesn't matter though, this game is over soon, so what you've got now, is what it's going to be until the end.

Seems like the formula lately has been one new weapon and a reprised weapon per season, but this season they only changed the damage type on an old weapon along with being updated to the new non-scope version and another reprised weapon. The armor is typically per DLC/year if I recall, and they have put in several changes over the past few seasons regarding game modes, with eruption and fortress being a fresh change and rift just being terrible.
