[quote] Except his bugs aren't beneficial. Half of his damage phase he's jumping, teleporting, hiding behind cover, hiding at the back of the map, or not even activating his damage phase at all. If this boss is working as intended, how in the world does Bungie intend us to beat him?

If your team is encountering this regularly, your aggro person doesn't have enough experience. You can basically pre-position him so he will be where you want him 99% of the time to begin damage phase. Make sure your aggro person isn't joining the group too early or else he'll get the team killed.
Ah, you know what? This makes a lot of sense. I am confused, however, as to why Bungie changed Nezy's behavior if players are in a well, but didn't give us a better alternative? Idk I suppose that change threw me off. Like, if they don't want us using well, why not give the banner void titan thingy an alternative and helpful interaction instead? You know like, just for this fight.
spend 10 minutes look at any of the solo nezarec runs. They pre-place nez in a specific spot next to a champ for finishers on felwinters helm and begin damage on a specific platform standing a specific distance from the edge to minimize his jumps/lunges.
The fight isn't super technical and honestly if you're team has good damage rotations you can simply brute force him with 3 phases even if your dps is scuffed.
but - if you're struggling as you've stated in your post, a lot of the 'bugs' are semi-within your control.
