No, the same thing happens every season, player count decreases as the season goes as there comes a point the only thing left is the grind, which only appeals to certain people. Once a new season drops the player base shoots back up until that season content is dry.

If I remember correctly, the 'Law of Averages' states that people who make that statement will eventually be right, doesn't it? Of course, that may be when Bungie shuts the game down, but they'll still be right.

There were over a million people online sunday across all systems. Pretty good numbers for the end of a season. IDK what type of cope you're smoking but the game is in a good place and will be in 2024. People have been saying that this game is dead since 2014, it's been 9 years ya'll should get a grip on reality. The player numbers will go up again when the new season starts next week. Then they will spike up even more when Final Shape comes out. This is the way.
