this is an "anthem" level disappointment .......
after pre-ordering every time and playing this game for 9 years....i'm disgusted in what i've received with Lightfall.
and i'm holding back on all the things i want to say! WHAT HAPPENED to you Bungie???????
It's apparent that this game is nothing more than a cash cow now. You don't give a damn about the quality anymore. this DLC should be called Strand. location is trash. nothing but simple reskins of weapons, how lazy. same damn enemies again!!!!!!! No more for me, I'm struggling to find the will to open the game up again. The only reason i'm trying at all, is so i feel like i'm getting something for my $100.
oy my....and the script writing (stretch to call it that).....was the focus 10 year olds???
What happened to the powerhouse Bungie studio who always seemed to blow me away.
You guys have totally sold out!!!
Where is the passion?
You screwed all of us loyal Destiny players.

1 返信Nah its not as bad as anthem lets be real. Lightfall isnt really good so far. Campaign was lacking in both story telling and lenght. (And innovation) Not that much loots (most loots are reskinned/old weapons) The mod system got F*CKED really hard. Strand is good, but compared to what it could have been with the old mod system it kinda sucks Neomuna is kinda empty (not that much things to do after reaching max rank) But the rest of the game is still good, we arent at anthel level of 0 fun.

4 通の返信LIGHTFAIL Just think about it. This expansion has been hyped for probably over 3 years now when they announced the 3 major expansions back then in 2020. That’s 3 years ago. And this is what they come up with? Hahahahahahaha! It’s beyond laughable! It’s LIGHTFAIL! Hahahahahahaha! You know it from the vidoc reveal, when they have staff spewing profanities all over the place, you know it’s already a failure. They said they will NOT overdeliver. And true to form, they did NOT overdelivered. Hahahahahahaha! There is nothing here. An empty failure. Welcome to hollowness!

I agree. This is not fun or a rewarding experience. The whole of Neptune feels dead. Rare to see any other players outside of at Nimbus. I remember when Bungie used to promote social play...what happened ? Gonna finish up the campaign and that will be it for me.

Anthem wasn’t even playable for a while. We just got a subpar storyline with many unanswered questions. At least the game is playable. Only real issues I have seen is invisible players and the pvp connections are still crap and inconsistent. Doesn’t come close to the Anthem level of fail though.

Eh we always get reskinned weapons. Every single tube grenade launcher is reskinned technically. And we’ve gotten the Main Ingredient frame style fusion dozens of times. And multiple bows, numerous shotguns, a few SMGs… My point being; reskinned weapons are the norm here. Not saying it’s good or bad but expected. We usually get a batch of ‘reissued’ guns and a batch or two of actual new concept ones (that fyi usually end up being older models with stuff on them). Bad reason to quit the game if you expect them to churn out brand new -blam!- every time. But yeah Lightfall wasn’t it man. They need to figure their stuff out if they want Final Shape not to suck.

Never mind how bad things are, as long as they keep throwing money at us. Take a look at what has happened in the last few years with a few games. Anthem, Division, No Man's Sky, Destiny 2 base game, Infinite, etc... [b]( all of them were half-backed games with false advertising, false promises, etc...)[/b] but only 1 of those made good on their promise, and only one actually showed what a developer is. That was the business that created No Man's Sky I believe the name is Hello Games, and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about the game, its issues, etc... [b]( they have done more work in one year to actually improve their game and the players experience then this business has done in 4.) [/b] Wake up, people!

This is the first time I haven't purchased an expansion / DLC within Destiny since 2014. I had an off feeling the last couple seasons and decided to skip the pre-order for the first time ever and I'm not please to say I'm happy I didn't buy it, I want this game to be better I really do love it but man they are making it hard to enjoy.
