A lot of us have been here from either the beginning of D1 (such as myself) or D2. You might like this expansion (and I’m happy for you if you did) but as a new player you wouldn’t really understand the frustration that the community is feeling, nor would you have the same expectations. You say this is your favourite game. That’s great. However your favourite game nearly died several times in the past (especially in Curse of Osiris) . The reason why it didn’t is because “toxic chewtoys” cared enough to stick with the game and criticize the game’s many flaws (and I mean MANY). Most people nowadays don’t care enough to criticize a game they don’t like. Instead they just leave and let the game die like many others. If you’re happy with Lightfall that’s great, I’m truly happy for you. That being said many other players who have been around much longer than you have are extremely disappointed.

Glad you’re enjoying it. However, I do disagree with your perspective of a “toxic chewtoy”- a positive opinion is an opinion, and so is a negative one. Constructive criticism is the reason why better results are achieved; without them, how could we perfect something that is amazing in our own eyes?
