Can we move away from the DPS exclusive meta in lightfall?
Since the dawn of D1 all the way through to now every boss is nothing but a DPS check. Theres no cool mechanics, nothing super interesting. Just "how much damage can i deal within a set amount of time"
I want to see something cool. Maybe a raid boss that doesnt require DPS, but is entirely mechanical to fight. Almost to the effect of how crota was in D1. There was some gun play but not exclusively all the rockets and linears to the face for 30 seconds.
Picture a boss fight, where instead of shooting the boss after a short sequence of plates, you have to stop the boss from reaching objectives by a series of teamwork objectives. 3rd encounter of DSC is something close, but not quite. Im thinking something were good skill and teamwork makes it and lazy teams and poor teamwork is punished. Yea, some kids might not like it, but its a raid, end game content, Its not meant to be easy.
Long story short, im tired of getting to a boss room, slapping on a linear, jumping on a platform/box/or plate and holding my trigger for 15 seconds. Theres no risk to these raids any more, no chance for a team to not make it. Make raids endgame again.
