😂 the simpletons argue “It’s over powered to have pinnacle weapons!”
The simpletons also “we shouldn’t have to grind crucible for ritual weapons exclusive to crucible”
Simpletons again “We have ritual weapons just play whatever core activity you want and it’ll be rewarded to you for playing- that’s the incentive to engage with those core activities”
Simpletons again 🤦♂️”Stop forcing us to play crucible for exclusive weapons”
Trust me… the simpletons have ruined this bloody game. Also they’re highly intellectually challenged. Reasons I don’t even bother with the community.

I was annoyed by getting stomped by them back in the day. Good players would just snowball into unkillable killing machines. But I got good and eventually got the weapons I was pursuing from PvP and then I started to clap back and the mountain was worth climbing

There was some issue however when Pinnacle PvP weapons were also SUPER good in PvE too like Recluse and Mountaintop. Master of Arms was kinda ridiculous, and the current Frenzy Funnelweb lookalike doesn't come close to that previous level of damage output as an example.

Idk why they don’t just have a separate list of what you can use in PvP and what you can run in PvE. I mean they did disable Quicksilver Storm in PvP but you can use it almost everywhere else. If it’s that simple idk why they couldn’t implement that across the board. So what if we have a PvP loadout and a PvE loadout. I don’t see the big deal. It’s no different than having multiple formats in card games. Why not multiple formats in Destiny?

I suppose it would make players even more angry. Angry that this cool weapon they earned in Nightfalls is too Broken for PvP, or that this PvP weapon they earned through Glory or Trials is too broken for Raids when they can use it in Strikes or Dungeons all they want.

It’s about how it’s executed. PvE Sandbox (have your exclusives here in regards to PvE) Have your various common drops here be useable anywhere Seasonal or Open World Sandbox (weapons that can be used anywhere regardless) Self explanatory imo. You can use Gambit as a PvEvP where we start seeing some rituals or pinnacles being allowed here for players to use ignoring the restrictions. After all gambit is supposed to be that middle ground experience right? PvP Sandbox (PvP exclusives here) Your common PvP weapons that can be used anywhere And then your rituals or pinnacles exclusive to this playlist

It's a decent idea, but I feel it goes against what Destiny's loot is meant to be and from a developer viewpoint, likely to become more trouble than it's worth when we now have the ability to balance weapons for PvE and PvP separately. The specific issue with Quicksilver right now is that you can become invincible. In PvE this means you can survive wipe mechanics, and obviously being invincible in PvP is not good for everyone who isn't you. Vaulted weapons being vaulted is a very unfun experience though, however in that same note that provides a similar fix to the issue we're talking about: Light Level activities. Outside of Trials, Crucible doesn't give af about your light level so you can still use Mountaintop and Recluse today while being pretty useless in any activity above the minimum light level, even Adept Nightfalls would screw you over for damage on a weapon locked at 1350 power level.
