Assasins cowl is used a lot. So is the frostees. Both are PvE meta.

PVE useful? Sure. PVE "meta"? Strongly disagree.

Then you are simply wrong. Assasins cowl = 24/7 invis with revenant. Frostees = a duskfield every 3 seconds on revenant. Both used in endgame by the top players.

If they simply running the meta which is Orpheus Rigs. I run Frostees when I'm running Revenant...and you're talking about an exotic that only became relevant when Stasis was added to the game, and took a major hit when Shatterdive got nerfed. Again, I'd categorize them as **useful** but not meta. Meta exotics are exotics like Stomp-ee5 in PVP. Orpheus Rigs for Hunters running Shadowshot. Celestial Nighthawk if you're running Gunslinger. or Phoenix Protocol or Lunefaction Boots if you're running Well of Radiance. There is a difference between something being a popular build (which is what you're describing), and something being meta. Meta builds are ones that are so much better than everything else that you literally disadvantage yourself by NOT using them....and if you're not using them in a raiding situation, you're likely to have team mates who will pressure you to switch. Because whatever you're using is so inefficient compared to the meta.
