Xbox console sells more in the states than Europe. The early psn exclusivity of destiny wouldn't have helped. Neither would how poorly the game released, euro players appear more savvy n don't put up with bad treatment, refunds are mandatory here too, which I believe isn't the case there.. also a lot of Xbox players are more sweaty (from what I've seen and read) and serious about shooters, so prefer stuff like cod, halo, fortnight, warzone, apex, than destiny joke PvP crucible which offers no prestige, no incentive, no reason to play honestly. Destiny sells way better in America than in Europe. Euro charts, other than CoD are dominated by games like FIFA, whereas US appear to like shooters more. In 2017, destiny 2 was number 2 in the psn yearly sales chart, just behind cod. In Europe it was number 11, behind games like snowboarding and goat simulator
