5 通の返信Izanagi indirectly killed his wife, Izanami, and upon finding her in the underworld he immediately spun around and left because she had become ugly after death. Izanami now exists exclusively to drag unwilling souls to the underworld while Izanagi has to live with the consequences of his actions. That is Izanagi's burden. ...oh wait, wrong Izanagi.

*Izanagi bore. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Izanagi Its an interesting tale that bears a lot of resemblance to the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. The pain of lovers seperated by death, and (I'm assuming) the burden of having to go on without them. Orpheus failed to meet the conditions to free Eurydice from Hades (he turned around to look back to see if her shade was following him just as he was about to step back into the light of the Living World...and she fell back into Underworld forever) Izanagi left Izanami behind in the Land of the Dead because she could not leave.

7 通の返信Izanagi? Didn't he have a wife named Izanami? If I remember correctly (big if), Izanagi killed Izanami. That's his burden.
