120 RPM HCs Nerf - I don't know how range/damage fall work in this game, so I can't say if this is gonna work or not. Time will tell.
Fellwinter's Lie/Astral Horizon Nerf - Is the remotion of Quickdraw a huge nerf? Yes, for sure. Is this gonna stop the Shotgun Knights and the huge dominance of Shotguns in general in the Crucible thanks to their crazy Range, damage and the absurd ammount of Special Ammos around? I don't think so... so, okay, huge nerf, but It doesn't seem to solve the main problem of this kind of Weapon (at least in PvP).
Swords Nerf - We hate to see it, but it was needed to give PvE a little bit more variety for the Heavy Slot.
Bastion - Love the Unstoppable Champions Buff. About the spreading angle: is this really gonna change something in PvP...?

For bastion it will- most of the time at range, a bastion user only needs to land a shot and a half to kill. Now they probably need to land 2 full shots instead of just 1. Idk- we gotta see. All I know is is that I get 1 shot on me of the 3 and im dead before the 2nd.

Ammo is an issue because people use special ammo weapons. It only drops a lot due to the high usage rates. It isn’t something that can be fixed really. As for sword nerf, wouldn’t buffing the other heavies solve two problems at once? Sword dominance and other types being too weak to compete?

I think Bungie should do some twekas here and there in order to balance Special Ammo Economy in PvP like they did long time ago during D1. I don't know how, to be hoenst. I'm not a dedicated PvP player, I rarely go into the Crucible, but those time I do, I can clearly see the dominance of Special Weapons around. About the Swords nerf: short answer, no. Long answer: Swords right now (expecially FG and The Lament) are not only much stronger, but also the most used Heavy Weapons among all the others. They are out of scale in PvE exactly as 120 RPM HCs are out of scale in PvP. You don't fix the problem by making all the other Weapons out of scale (so increasing the bare minum range of the "balance treshold"), but by bringing back those out of scale Weapons in regime.

There is nothing you can do about people using the weapons. That’s the crux of the problem. The better players will farm the lessers and they won’t run out of ammo. Usage is a by product, it’s not an issue itself. They aren’t that out of scale, especially with the recent damage nerf. The numbers aren’t that far off in damage test videos. Swords have higher risk then a rocket, it makes sense you get more out of it. However just nerfing swords doesn’t solve the lack of viability in other weapon types. So what people use won’t change. The extra two ammo per heavy won’t make much of an impact, especially when you can use ammo mods and leave bricks laying around. They’d have to halve the ammo amount in general to make a real change. The only real solution is either a nerf and buff combo or an outright buff of the other types.
