There is no endgame for vets, no reason to play other than shooting stuff.
PVP is a mess.
The situation the game is in now is not new and has been happening since the start of D1, however the technical issues with the game are the worst they’ve ever been and have only gotten worse since the split.
There will be enough new players who have loads to do pouring money into eververse to sustain the game until the next big expansion which will come in September sometime.
The question is can bungie produce a good enough expansion in September to bring players and their wallets back?
For me it is a question of will I want to be playing a game entering year 4 on a next gen console when there will be competing games better suited to the new tech.
With where Destiny is right now I would feel a bit defeated and disappointed if year 4 Destiny is my go to option for the PS5.
I agree.
I have no motivation to play in the foreseeable future.
The game gets new technical issues with every update now, god knows what will happen with a proper expansion?
I’ve tried the game on all the main platforms and each one has its issues.
Forsaken was made when they had help from Activision, Shadowkeep wasn’t and the difference was like apples and oranges.
