To set expectations now, this week's TWAB will not have specifics on how numerous items of feedback will be addressed.
We're nearing approval on some action items for Trials, which we've noted in a previous TWAB. We've had a few meetings just this week to talk through many of the major pain points that players are feeling.
It sucks that things take time. Many of us wish we could turn around after a day to say "here is exactly what we're doing, how, and when to expect the patch", but rushing fixes could lead to more problems that could further impact your enjoyment of the game. Bandaid fixes could address feedback in the short term, but lead to development issues in the future.
We want to make Destiny 2 the best it can be. We don't want to break hearts, as noted in the OP. We want to create places that inspire friendship. Quite a bit of Destiny 2 content still shines for new players, but we have work to do for those that have been around for the long run.
Hope to have plans to share with you soon. We'll be loud and clear when we do.

For example, why can't we masterwork our ghost for extra perks? Why can't our clan level become masterwork at full level and give extra perks and nice golden outline like other masterworks? Why can't we select a specific drop from nightfalls and xurs fated engram? I've been grinding both for three seasons and I've only gotten 2 contraverse holds to drop and the recovery and discipline are worse then collections. I have plenty of better and harder to implement ideas but I feel like I've been talking to a wall for 4 years, not once have you responded to any of my posts or tweets. I've responded directly to dmg in these forums for years ...still no reply. Smh.

Thank you dmg for replying to this fan. I've out thousands of hours into Destiny as a franchise. I've doubled my hours from D1 in D2. I agree with the OP. You guys should reserve the TWAB for meaningful communications. Tells us what's going on. I'm not even sure people would be upset if you guys said you needed more time to work on things. Just take a season to work on the game if you need to. Idk, I believe in you guys. Just talk with your community some more. All these people saying "all you guys do is lie" can shove it, because you guys clearly do care about us.

Zavにより編集済み: 4/11/2020 6:25:47 AMOnly the top 0.5% of PvP'ers give a meaningful shit about trials. It's boring, and the same thing as crucible Why don't you tell the devs about how everyone hate bounties? or how they are forcing you do the garbage tier public event 12 times a week just to finish off 4 bounties? Seriously this "season" is just about the worst thing I've ever experience in D2, its exhausting. I have not had even an ounce of fun with the game in months and the seasons have actually detracted from the game, they've made it worse. I hate what you've done, I hate champions, I hate Shadowkeep in general really 40 people from my clan have straight up quit, and I will never buy a another thing from Bungie unless they do a complete 180 on practically everything they've implemented in the last 6 months. They won't though, the system has been designed by a marketing team and not passionate folk. People who developed the game seem to have lost their way and their love for the game, the producers, lead writers, lead developers...everyone. It's very frustrating Honestly I can't even tell one "epic" moment I've had since SK dropped, I can't tell you a moment where i've truly enjoyed having this money-leaching, casino style, creatively bankrupt game take up room on my harddrive

You guys have been "listening" for six years now and learned nothing from the feedback you've "heard." The game only ever takes one step forward and then about eight steps back. To say Destiny has been mismanaged from day 1 would be an understatement. It's clear now that Vicarious Visions and High Moon 100% carried Destiny 2 on their backs. Please reconsider selling the IP to Activision like you should have when you split, and just go make mobile games for the Chinese market. That seems to be the extent of your skill set these days.

This is a really great response and my feelings were mirroring the OP and just seeing an acknowledgment and a little insight means a lot. Keep up the good work at this time and I’ll see you at the charity stream 💪

Or can we get anymore information on this watercress error because as time gose on more and more people are been affected and still nothing been done and no more bull on were lookin in to it just want a streight answer will i be abel to play the rest of the dlc or not

Honestly dmg... I feel for you and Cozmo. I only hope that you folks at Bungie really take in feedback in every step of development. Right now, it feels like Bungie is largely ignoring our feedback considering that some (not all) changes are the polar opposite of what's being asked for. Anyhow, good luck. I'm taking some time away from destiny 2 right now. Too burnt out.

Well, it's clear that your actual skilled developers have left the building years ago. The game has been a bug filled mess since year one, and somehow you managed to really mess it up with the latest season. You still haven't fixed that, and the design alone of the new season is a mess. Do you have any competent designers and developers left? We're getting sick of these excuses. Tiago Sousa, John Carmack, and many more, like Tomonobu Itagaki, can fix your issues quicker than you can on their own. Oh, and while you're at! Get better networking people! We're sick of the error codes that, if you get enough of them, they still blame you! Nobody in their right mind uses P2P for online gaming.

You make it sound like you don't have any plans with that last line. Nothing to say. An approximate quote from the first Directors Cut from the split with Activision. "We didn't talk about enhancment cores because we had nothing to say." This makes me think the same logic applies here too. You may talk and reassure of problems but we haven't seen much done. Your devs do so much more redesigning than actually fixing, breaking crap even more. I'm sorry but this game need more than just bandaids, it needs stitches. Take a season to get sorted or this Jenga Tower is going to fall. I like Destiny and I'd hate to see it go.

Well, you're turning more and more players off and have done little to nothing to inspire friendships. The last couple weeks alone I've watched a 90 man clan literally crumble (just from my personal experience), a high profile streamer isn't doing Trials today, and that TWAB was one of the worst y'all have ever put out. "Watchable" content? Can you pander to streamers just a little bit more? Until Luke Smith is out, or until the devs can create something worth playing, I'm afraid you all are going to see the game really bleed out by the end of this season.
