What variations have you heard of the Trolley Problem? This has to be my favorite moral quandary, so I wanted to hear Offtopic’s take on it.
Here are some of my favorite variations of the trolley problem:

The Real Stinker
There’s an out of control trolley speeding towards four workers. You have the ability to pull a lever and change the trolley’s path so it hits just one worker instead. But get this: that one worker? It’s your -blam!-ing mom. Bet you weren’t expecting that shit, were you?
The Ethics Teacher
There’s an out of control trolley speeding towards four workers. You are on your way to teach an ethics class and this accident will make you extremely late. You have the ability to pull a lever and change the trolley’s path so it hits just one person. This will make you slightly less late to your class.
Here’s a couple I found on the internet when researching trolley problems:
You are the conductor from the trolley problem. You have the power the power to stop the train in time but do not. Nobody knows you’re part of the equation. You satisfy your bloodlust and get away with it every time.
I’ll add more when I can. So, what’s your favorite spin on the trolley problem? Do you pull the lever or not?

A trolley hitting one person is going to be a stronger impact than if it hit four people, it’s just a trolly it’s not deadly so I’d say it would be best to hit four people regardless who the individual is as that would spread the impact meaning each person receives less of the impact. If it was a train that might change the reasoning but probably not my answer 😂

2 通の返信I throw a grenade. The 5 people on the one track, the 1 person on the other, and everyone on the trolley are blown to bits. I go home and eat pizza.

6 通の返信I stop the car. Its the best outcome with the fewest casualties. If it were possible to get no casualties then that's what I'd go for.

3 通の返信I wonder if this will trigger a lock or ban, since it is not political, but I could see this stirring up debate, which could lead to breaking the disruption clause, I believe. My answer is, I am on a trolley & not driving, so I am playing a game on my phone or reading a book & do not notice. Everybody dies.
