I'm getting enemies that will rubber and from one side of the map that they aren't supposed to be on, kill me, then teleport back. Enemies glitching in and out and not taking damage till after they are supposed I'm dead. Ive had instances in altars of sorrows that have had nightmares just teleport, literally teleport, from halway to being sacrificed to the sacrifice spot. No way to stop them or hurt them. Its 100% not my internet. I get great speeds both upload and download. And I have multiple people I play with who encounter the same issue. Please address this soon. It's making some of the things people are going for almost impossible. Like solo flawless pit of heresy. Died cause a knight ended up on the totem plate all the way from left side. Even though he should not have even been close to it. Makes altars of sorrows basically a game of luck that you hope doesn't glitch out for you going for sorrows bane triumph. Among other things. It shouldn't be happening and it's been doing this since shadowkeep launch. 6 WEEKS. should have been addressed and fixed by now.

11 通の返信Is it just me when I damage and almost kill some enemies its like the server lags and the enemy suddenly regains health? . Like a good portion of the damage dealt was not registered? I have a optical fibre 200mbps download/20mbps upload connection and destiny is the only game where things like this happen

1 返信RAIST5150により編集済み: 11/15/2019 3:51:01 PMTo everyone spitting off their high bandwidth numbers... Anything beyond about a 4x2 is overkill. The game averages around 1mbps both directions during gameplay.... and that is really only because of occasional spikes. It can use more bandwidth during load in... but the actual gameplay is just a drop in the bucket compared to what most of us have. What matters MOST is latency and packet loss. Need to confirm that there are no issues maintaining low jitter and no packet loss across ALL the connections in the instance--all 20+ of them... not just your outbound but also the inbound. A player's path to you can be different than yours to them. For example, my inbounds from a looking glass will go through routers assigned to Myrtle Beach, but when I ping the same servers they go through Atlanta or Raleigh-Durham. More than 2% loss and/or around 10% deviation from average latency can wreak havoc on an instance. Such conditions are far more common than many realize. I periodically can get up to 500ms spikes showing in traces from one of those Myrtle Beach routers... only ever see that on outbound when Level3 is acting up. Have to get on my ISP to investigate those conditions when they show up. There is only about 30ms wiggle room between frames at 30fps, about 15ms at 60fps. Quite easy to slip bit out of phase... and there is a limit to how much compensation they will make. So your latency and loss factors NEED to be spot on.

3 通の返信i agree. its bad on console and even worse on pc. both are connected with cable in my house. so there is no wifi issues here. since 3 weeks it even became worse. i get a 10sec black screen b4 every crucible map. in strikes i get loading screens for almost 1 minute (longer on pc (lol)). many ppl are lagging in every activity for me - even the enemys are glitching in every way. didnt play any ib last we cause of this matter. my internet didnt change at all - every other game is running like before. i know we wont get dedicated servers (i would pay extra for that) so please fix the existing problem. i even started to play planet coaster again :D - since destiny2 and dota2 got worse instead of better the last month.

I get these teleporting enemies a lot lately. Shadowkeep has taken it's toll on the game and it shows. I have great internet and destiny usually runs pretty good, but lately it's just horrible. Even just running around pateol zones you see enemies just randomly teleport or flat out disappear.

here is moment of teleporting ships bungo bullshits about your shitty internet, funny other ships fly ok, one jumps back and then again goes forward same as teleporting cabal and rest https://youtu.be/FlvX3Fj2Qg8?t=223

2 通の返信I might be wrong but I think it's due to the fact that we don't have dedicated servers like every other online game

Yes, and no. There aren’t any game state servers for D1 or D2 (besides the special case of raid boss fights, those are server instanced). But I too have noticed increased instances of exactly what you describe. Even simple stuff like Fallen dregs that are constantly crouching and standing up (so that you miss your headshots), majors that jerk around (and you miss your special ammo shots), etc.. So, something is definitely wrong with the netcode in D2, and more so in the last 6 months than e.g. before Forsaken.

I think bungies servers are locked to an old email account that belonged to a person they fired in the mass cull before d1 even launched and no one knows the password. All destiny pvp has been running on coding a year older than d1 itself cos that dev set a fail safe self destruct that meant bungie been using the same coding for all destiny sandboxes from the start. At least that’s what I heard from my cousins friends uncle who’s neighbour once flew over Seattle.

4 通の返信that's because people are playing on wifi (or you are) nothing to do with servers.

9 通の返信Bro pvp lag is at an all time worse right now. But dont worry the bungo defenders are coming. I played momentum last night and punched a player 2 or 3 times only to see player disappear before my eyes. All game long this player did this. Almost every lobby has 2 or 3 players like this. Im a pvper but this is not enjoyable at all right now and yes ive seen it in pve too.

Please edit with examples of other games you play that do not have any ping issues. For instance, neverwinter, if you can play that without any rubber banding, destiny should be seamless. My ping on Conan Exiles official servers is 32. Neverwinter is around 45 usually Destiny comes in at a whopping 120 avg. That's a blink in our time. But when you need to pass 30 updates a second two ways..that's like a turtle fart.

1 返信Yup don’t have that issue. Upload/download speed isn’t the Golden egg, it’s ping rate. You only need dsl speeds to play this with ping of cable internet. Also ping is affected by distance from servers via number of hops. I’m fortunate to be closer to main server cluster. You may not be.

1 返信There arent any servers, its all P2P connection and since bungie wont even attempt region locking chances are youre getting hosted by someone literally on the opposite side of the planet from you

The hybrid system is a mess. Yes there are servers that store your game inventory, keep track of match progress, collect match stats hold map information etc. The player movement and their abilities are peer to peer. In a Utopian setting this works great as everyone has the same connection and network properties to each other and everything would look smooth and great. Except that is not the reality now. Someone will always lag in a peer to peer scenario unless they went draconian with geographical matchmaking. But even this is not foolproof as someone even 10 - 30 miles from your could have abhorrent internet connection. They try to balance game responsiveness with global accessibility and some sort of enjoyment for all but when you try to please everyone you please no one.
