Desperation for Monte Carlo
Okay, i made a post last week about asking for the best way to farm exotic. Since then, i have done roughly 20 Ordeal runs on Hero difficulty as well as doing all my powerful rewards. Since Shadowkeep, i have gotten ~20 exotics, all of which have been duplicates. My heart sinks every time i see an enemy drop an exotic, just to be disappointed with another duplicate. I've put 230 hours into destiny on steam, and still have no Monte Carlo and my friend has gotten 5 in 6 days. Is there any proof of this being a bug because i've seen A LOT of people in the same situation, some people with even more exotics or playtime. I just want to know if this is a bug, or i just have the worst rng in the world.

Just got that like yesterday or the day before... I think it was during pyramidion 920 nightfall, but just a random drop, iirc. Either that or a forge trash mob. I forget which. Not really something I’ll use anyway, I like my Telesto too much.

3 通の返信Get yourself a fated Engram every week and hope for the best, luckily I got my Monte Carlo off a haunted forest boss drop.

Have you claimed your exotic at season rank 25? I had put off claiming it and forgot about it. I actually found that I hadn’t claimed it last week my season rank is above 150 now. So I claimed it and that is where my monte Carlo came from. I had been trying to get that and divinity for all exotics. So now I only have divinity left. Just a thought if you haven’t claimed it yet.

1 返信Shame there's no such thing as trading in D2 (Hey, Bungie, Eververse could be making an "ebay like" commission on trades!!). I would happily sell/give you mine if trades were possible. I don't suppose it helps to know this but mine simply dropped from patrol on the moon. I killed a "yellow bar", chest appeared and alongside was a shiny yellow engram that turned into Monte Carlo. I guess this is the world of RNG.

5 通の返信If you're doing ordeals, stop. only armor will drop from the exotic gear (common, rare etc) the only way to get it is from powerful gear and extremely rare world drops from exotic engrams.

10 通の返信Monte carlo will always be a mid tier exotic. You're not missing anything. I've always wanted this gun to be my main but it will never be top tier. The best I can see it being is if you want to spam code of the missile in pve.
